Genetically Twisted Freaks
It is one of the few primitive emotions that drive mankind to action. Often times what is most feared is what is not understood. If you cannot understand something, if you cannot know or comprehend the dynamics of a thing, then it drives you to fear. What does mankind do when afraid of something it doesn't understand? It lashes out for its own inadequacies at the thing it does not understand. Sometimes, mankind gets lucky, and it can over power that which it does not understand. Sometimes, that which it does not understand, fights back.
Something began to appear that mankind did not understand. Taking the form of those among them. Mutants, freaks, with natural abilities beyond those of mankind. Some were physical, some were mental, some were obvious, some were subtle, but never the less, all of them were feared.

This place has to be the most photographed place in the world. The streets are busy with taxis and people. Live broadcasts are tape in many of buildings.

Central Park
The beautiful park in the middle of the city that gives hope to the tree-hugging community. No but seriously, it is a nice place to walk or take a carriage ride if you want to spend some time alone or with that special someone. Just avoid it after dark.

Morlock Tunnels
The tunnels and abandoned bomb shelters beneath the ground that the Morlocks use as shelter. What they call home. It's connected to the sewers, so they have access to everywhere in the city.
