"I've known Ron since I was born. It happens that way, when he's your older brother. Still, I couldn't have asked for a better one. I can say that about all of my brothers, but since he was the closest in age to me, he was the one that would take the time to play with me most, as I got older. Until he went off to Hogwarts, of course. We've been through a lot together, and not just the War. Just as brother and sister, he'd be protective of me, and we would argue, and tease each other, and all the things siblings are supposed to do. That's what made all the other stuff okay, the fact that I had him there to do silly things like that, with so many other bad things going on. I'd give up my life for him, I love him. "I was there when Ginny was born. According to my mother, I crawled right up into the bed, looked at Ginny, and said 'baby', which was something like the third word I could actually say. With all of the older siblings we had, it was pretty much required that we stick together. I was the youngest boy, she was the only girl. We were magnets for taunts and pranks and teasing. We had to learn to stick together, and we did. There was only a year between us, so a good portion of my childhood was spent playing games with her. "I've met Ron the first time on the Hogwarts train. Well the train station first but name basis and all that jazz was set in one of the train's booth. He was a rather odd boy but I liked him, he seemed cool to me. Ron was amazed to have seen my scar. Maybe that's what attracted him, but who knows. From then on Ron and I have been best friends, close, or whatever you wanna call it. Ron and I had so many adventures together. I remember when he pwned that life size Wizards chess back in our first year. And that one time when I saved him from the Merpeople in the Black lake. You know, the Tri Wizard task and all. Even when Ron and I were in Dumbledore's Army. Great times, great times. He maybe a goofy guy but he's got courage. He's got my back even if I know he's scared. He's a Gryffindor dammit. I know he's always there for me. We've also had our ups and downs with the friendship but we always manage to patch things up. Jealousy and all that none fun stuff had affected our friendship. Even the fact that I'm in love with his sister, Ginny, got him all rowdy up. But he got over it...I hope. But no matter, Ron's my best mate and I won't have it any other way."

"I'll admit that the thing that first drew me to Harry was his scar, and the legend that came with it. Well, that and the fact that all of the other compartments on the Hogwart's Express were empty. After that, things just sort of fell into place. Harry and I have done a lot in the time that I've known him. There was the stone thing in our first year, where I got to direct a giant chess game and get knocked out. I got kinda mad at him for awhile during our fourth year, but it was more jealousy than anything, and I'm certainly not proud of it. Then there was the D.A and the Ministry bit. That was certainly an interesting end to the school year. And of course, in our seventh year I had what is quite probably my worst moment- I abandoned him and Hermione. It was partially the locket's fault, though, making me feel terrible all the time. I dunno. I like to think that I made up for it though. Eventually. We've had our ups and downs. I'm still kind of unsure about this relationship that he has going with Ginny. It's just a big brother thing, I think. But if he hurt her... well, best friend or not I wouldn't let him get away with it. I don't think that he will, though. I don't know. Either way, he's my best mate. I think that's all that really needs to be said."
