This is a bit of background info on the alliances of your characters.

THE PURISTS:

They were started in September of 1998 by an unknown leader. The Pureblood Purity Party spent a lot of time talking about ways to stamp out muggleborns. But that was just it- all they did was talk. In February of 1999, Lucas Greengrass began questioning their leader. Why weren't they doing anything? Surely there were things that could be done. They could infiltrate the Ministry. Admittedly, it would be harder now that the place was crawling with Order members, but if they started on the lower rungs of the Ministry ladder, couldn't it be done? He had other ideas as well, and as he talked, people began to listen. By February 20th, 1999, the original founder of the party had been knocked from his throne and replaced by the older, wiser, and infinitely more threatening Lucas.

Under Lucas' reign, the party became more active. It began with the killings of random muggles. Then, they began recruiting. Their next step was to infiltrate the Ministry. By May 1999, they had over half of their members in important offices at the Ministry, biding their time until they could act. The Purists have even bigger plans ahead, and are determined to stamp out muggleborns entirely.

THE NEW ORDER:

Comprised of members of the old Order of the Phoenix, children of members of the old Order, and former members of the D.A, the New Order of the Phoenix rose on February 25th, only five days after Lucas Greengrass took over the Purists. On February 21st, Daphne Greengrass had approached Ronald Weasley and his family, going behind her brother's back and informing them of what was happening right under everyone's noses. She explained that Lucas had ideas and plans that would change everything if they were allowed to continue. Approximately two days later, Bill Weasley began speaking of restoring the Order. It was to his dismay that he found that many of the old members wanted nothing to do with it. After all, the danger was just a bunch of kids. That was hardly as dangerous as You-Know-Who and his Death Eaters.

So he began the New Order of the Phoenix. With the help of his younger siblings and their friends, they soon had a strong following. They began working to fight against the infiltration of the Ministry. However, once the elections for a new Prime Minister came about, and Kingsley Shacklebolt was replaced, they found this infinitely harder to do. The New Order are still recruiting, doing everything that they possibly can to stop Lucas Greengrass. Getting close to him is difficult, however.

THE NEUTRALS:

Then there are the Neutrals. These are the citizens who are either uninformed of the two different alliances, who would rather not join any, or who think that if they ignore it it'll all go away. They are prey for both sides, often being offered things in exchange for their support and loyalty.
