This series gets a lot of hype. I've got to be honest with you people though, I've always found this game a bit boring.

i've only played X and IX, i'm currently working on VII and i'm loving it! IX made me fall in love with it for it's awesome story and then X and VII just made me a bit more obsessed.
the story, the characters, i love it all!

If square enix is going to remake a game, it should be a Chrono game. They should totally put it on the Wii.
Anyway, I can't stand turn based games for that long. After a while they just bore me.

It's true that some of the final fantasies do put you to sleep with their turn based tactics. X and X-2 were the best for this seeing as there were little features during battle like characters talking every now and again (certain abilities/spells) and in X-2 battles were almost real time so in some battles the player barely had time to think let alone react.
One thing that I have found is that in the later editions, there are little to no new ideas being brought forward. Example: X-2's 'dresspheres' are a ripoff of FFV's crystals. FFVII was perhaps the best of the series (havn't played anything after FFX-2) due to storyline and characters.

In the whole series I found VII to be the most original and with the best storyline. It wasn't like the other games and is what got them set on the track for the rest of the games in the series. I found this by the way. Now I can't read Japanese at the time but that most sertantly looks like VII. I don't know if it has something to do with Kingdom Hearts were that is the main part of the aticle, and to be honest I hope it's not. But I took a closer look at the picture and the game animation is not the same as for KH. So if you can read Japanese help me out here. Also more news they have confirmed that they WILL be remaking VII. I will try and find the artical.

The katakana says 'Kuraudo'. That means that his name really should have been Claud. o.o

I think that I want to call him Claud now because I think it's a cool name myself.

because it's true, the only version of Advent Children i've seen was a ripped copy without subtitles and was in japanese. the way you say it's pronounced is exactly as it is in the movie itself.
one thing i do love in the movie is the victory fanfare being the ringtone for the phone during that fight with tifa
