His best year for singles? Between February vs Kawada, May vs Misawa, and the two Kobashi matches, plus some others I don't like but many do (ie. vs Misawa in the carnival), he has to do well. Throw in a great babyface performance in the MVCs vs Hansen/Deaton squash and a handful of good tags, and it's a matter of 'how high' rather than 'if' he gets in.

I am going to want to rewatch a bunch of this stuff, but Hansen feels like another #1 contender

There's a gaijin 6-man sprint from the July 28th comm where Hansen just tears it up. Hansen was also great in the Feb. tag with RVD where he takes it to Kawada. '93 Hansen is something anyone can love.

I'm pretty comfortable calling him the best worker in AJPW that year.

Top 3 for me right now, and it's pretty much impossible he'll drop out of the top 5. He's right there with Kawada as my #2. I'll get a hold of whatever Ditch has that never made the '93 yearbook, and I imagine the case for him only gets stronger.
