I could see Quakenbush squeez into my top 15, and Jigsaw will make my list, but can't see an argument for anyone else

I've been ranking all the workers from every company to help make choosing my final 100 easier. For Chikara, Quackenbush is #1 and Jigsaw is #2 respectively. After that there's not too many guys I can see making the final WKO 100, although, Ophidian or Amasis might end up near the tail-end of my list because I enjoy their stuff.

I forgot about Kingston, I guess he is a Chikara dude, he might sneak into the top 100 depending on how good his I Quit match with Bandido Jr. ends up being. Claudio may have been in too many good matches this year to keep him off too. Hallowicked is okay too, but man I watched that super pimped three way six man tag and fuck are most of the pimped Chikara guys awful.

I dig Claudio when he's working quasi-lucha style. Top 80.

Quakenbush's chops were embarrassing in that MOTYC tag.

Yeah Claudio has grown on me as well.

Quackenbush's mannerisms annoy me so fucking bad. It's really effecting my perception of him as a wrestler. Like the dumb face he makes when he nipped up after getting dropkicked as if he was superman. The worst is when he tries comedy. I don't know if anybody else feels similar, might just be one of those things where you just don't like a guy's face. The Chikara special or whatever looks kind of ridiculous too and when he applies it's like "Yeah this move is the fucking shit and nobody gets out of this or my awesome pinning combo" and the sumo palm strikes look wack as hell too. The technical wrestling gimmick doesn't help him in my eyes and he's just looking more and more to me like a tape mark.

I echo most if not all of Julio's sentiments, though I haven't seen the revered Uppercut v. Quack/Jigsaw tag. In the Lucha Vavoom review I'll finish in 2016, I talk about how Quakenbush is a guy who on paper is working hard at doing the little things to engage an audience, but because of matters both in his control and out of his control, those little things often end up looking completely contrived, exposing, and crowd-killing. I don't feel totally fair docking a guy points because he looks like a Best Buy manager, but there it is: his unintentional goofiness sometimes gets in the way of his intentional goofiness.

I've often found Quackenbush annoying as well, but he won me over a bit when I saw him work against Negro Navarro in Delaware and against Team Uppercut at King of Trios. I loved both those matches and he was a big part of getting the story across in each.

I do wish he'd never throw another strike.
