Rey Mysterio vs VADER, Masquerade

Vader at his worst in WWF 97/98 was never close to being as shitty as 99/00 Rey was.

I would not rate anybody over Vader. Part of that is being biased but im biased because he is awesome.

Yeah I like it, but have not seen too much. But that does not have much to do with Rey. Ive seen almost everything he has ever done and im not putting him over Vader. Im hesitant to put him as equal to Vader.

Yeah I can agree with that. Even if WWE Rey its hard to see him as an underdog since he got so gassed up.

Vader could have a better match with Kidman than Rey could with Nikita Koloff.

Giant/obese workers are at a disadvantage. Their roles are limited and they're not as athletic as the top smaller workers. Vader being in the upper echelon of workers is impressive enough. That said, it was a difficult decision, but had to go with Mysterio.

I just can't see any argument for Rey being better. I mean I would not put Rey over a motivated Juventud Guerrera, and im sure as fuck not putting Juvi over Vader. Gian/fat workers being limited physically usually lead to them being far smarter well rounded workers.

I think Rey is hugely overrated. The only reason he is thought of as best in the world is because of how much smaller the wrestling world is now. Same as Finlay or Danielson. Thats not a knock on those guys. but if you stick any of them in 92 WCW they probably never break the top ten in that company.

Finlay and Rey were wrestling in 92 so yeah they would've done well. Danielson probably wouldn't.

90s Guerrera was probably better than 90s Mysterio, however, Mysterio this decade is far better than 90s Guerrera. I'm sure you'd agree that storytelling > highspots.

Finlay was arguably a top 10 worker in '92. Post-comeback Finlay's better than 90s Finlay, so if he was booked correctly, I don't see why he wouldn't make my top 10 in '92.

No because Vader definitely had nights where he would work hard but not smart. What im saying is he is a smarter and all around better worker than Rey. Both guys at their best Vader wins and both guys at their worst Vader wins.

Nothing ive ever seen of 90's Rey tells me he would rate in 92 WCW much less the world. A lot of these guys benefit from wrestling being nearly dead in this country. Finlay might rate but I can't imagine putting Rey ahead of Tracy Smothers.
