I'm just thinking about how 2009 will go for the indies, and I don't think it'll do too well.
ROH is being booked into the ground, and with Nigel out for surgery within the next couple months that will be another huge blow to the company. CHIKARA has Quack going out for surgery, which obviously blows. IWA:MS is having financial problems for the 1028943897438th time and had to pull some guys(including Kingston) from some of their upcoming shows. So will 2009 be a bad year for the indies? |

JAPW is on a hot streak, XCW Midwest is booking a Bull Pain v. Todd Morton feud, look elsewhere.

If it wasn't for the obscure indy promotions, I'd have virtually no interest in the current US indy scene. Indy superstars have wrestled each other a zillion times, so ROH type promotions are all incredibly stale (that said, London will freshen things up, at least for the short term).

I just watched the 2008 Jeff Peterson cup and was surprised at how much enjoyed a lot of the local Florida guys, are there any Dark City Fight Club, Nooie Lee or Brad Attitude stuff worth seeing
