How is Kanemoto the better heel. Someone explain why this isn't a shutout.

Sympathy vote, like you said. Sometimes I like throwing away a vote on a poor lonely lost cause in the face of overwhelmingly superior opposition.

Does anyone else find Kanemoto to be terrible in this Z1/NJ feud? Everyone on DVDVR is raving about what a great heel he is, and how nuclear his heat is in these matches, but I watched pretty much everything he did for it through the end of this summer, and damned if the dude isn't HBK minus ridiculous bumps and hilarious promos. I've seen none of his late 90s accolades: give me a reason or two to become a fan.

I too am left wanting, and badly at that, by the NJ/Z1 feud. It feels like dream match wrestling, not HATE.

Kanemoto was a capable right-hand man to Ohtani in the billion good junior tags I capped over the summer.

Also don't care for the NJ/Z1 feud. Feud needs Kikuchi.

I'm a fan of 90's Kanemoto, he played the role of young prick well enough. Plus, he didn't have the ridiculous Ohtani facial expressions.

I think Kanemoto is way better face than heel.

I don't watch matches from over 2000 years ago so I haven't seen much of the ancient relic Nicky.

So yeah I voted Koji based on his late 90's prickness.

Such as his tags with Inoue VS Gedo/Jado or all of 2006 (best year of his career). I never liked Kanemoto's 90s stuff, he was always my least favorite of the big NJPW Jrs other than Takaiwa.
