Seems to be alot of love for him on here.

Most of the posters here don't care for New Japan juniors, so I don't see how he gets a lot of love. He's a good wrestler and at times was the best worker in New Japan. Those CTU tags would have been unwatchable if Gedo wasn't around - he'd always make the body of those tags somewhat interesting. He's a really good heel, it's just too bad he's stuck in such a spotty environment.

Can't think of any great Gedo matches at the moment... you might want to check out Gedo/Jado vs Kanemoto/Inoue series from a few years ago. I think Eivion gave them about 7 stars.

He also had a match with Sugiura. Recall it being based around selling rather than moves, so you might want to check that out.

I need to rewatch his catch rules match with Hiro Saito.

6/2/01 w/ Tanaka vs. Ishikawa/Yone (BattlArts)
8;/19/01 w/ Jado vs. Sasuke/TM IV (MPro)

Those are the two Gedo matches that are worth tracking down. He probably had a few decent matches in the 2002-2003 period in MPro but I haven't seen much from that era.

I don't believe these are online.

Yeah I'd like to see the catch match with Saito.

He had an entertaining brawl with Kantaro Hoshino in '08 that made my Japan top 20 that year. Probably the last (or nearly last) Hoshino match to make tape.

I'm pretty sure that was the only Hoshino match since his '90s retirement.
