Scotland is famous for its beautiful landscapes and the over all magic of such an old country. Deep in one of the many majestic woods of Scotland stands an old mansion with a large wooden sign standing in front. On this sign engraved in gold says: 'Woodland Institute for the gifted' When you see this you would think it is a school for smart people but this is not only a school for smart people but for magical humanoids.
There are alot of canon characters to choose from. Alot of time was spent on them - dont let it go to waste.

Kaylie Anne is very skinny but she has always been that way. Her blue eyes are bright and captivating. Kaylie is used to people telling her she has a 'beautiful smile'. Kaylie is verys self-consious about her looks becais she feels so awkward in her body.
Kaylie has never changed anything about her body, she never peirced her ears- never plans to and even though she is so self consious she tries to be happy with her body the way it is. She doesn't have any tatoo's either. When she turnds sixteen traditional sprite tatoos will be given to her but they will be subtle She's not excited for that day at all though.
Kaylie wears normal mortal clothes except she always likes to wear traditional sprite cloaks and hoods. She wears brightly colored clothing and jeans. When the weather is hot she would be seen wearing a sprite summer dress. Blood Loyal?: Like most sprites Kaylie likes all of the other magial creature although she is partial to elves because they hold such a likeness to mortals and mortal witches. Kaylie was raised in a family where they all had friends of the different magical races and taught to treat everyone eaqually. She likes fairies the best because of their gracefulness and beauty, also because they are so similar to sprites.

Personality:
Most people see Kaylie as a beautiful quiet girl. Some people see her as a helping hand or just someone who brightens up your day a bit. Boys have crushes on Kaylie sometimes but it is not an often occurance. When you first meet Kaylie she will smile, if your lucky she might say hello. She doesnt say hello to everyone because sometimes she doesn't have the nerve to start up a conversation. Once you get to know Kaylie she is a good friend but it takes a while for her to consider you her friend. Not because your not good enough, just because she is shy and reluctant to start new relationships.
In school Kaylie does well, She is in A class for most of her subjects. The one common thing that brings her marks down is her oral presentations. Whenever she has to do a project out loud she stutters and mixes up words. Sometimes for people who don't know Kaylie they think she has a learning disablility or not completely literate. When put under pressure Kaylie freezes up, stutters and makes a fool of herself. No one knows why and her parents - who are so proud of her singing talents that want her to perform more often - have tried everything to get her to be comfortable in the center of attention.
Kaylie loves all living things although she is afraid of mortals. She grew up homeschooled so she never went to mortal shool. She just knows the stories of how mortals kill plants and animals without asking or being gentle about it. She has always had a very soft spot for nature- like most sprites do. When she was younger she lived with her family in her grandmothers forest so she made friends with many wood nymphs who taught her how to take care of the trees. The Family mother: Jean

History:
When Jean first found she was pregnant she was as exstatic as she was with her first child. Everyone was excited. The nymphs around Jean's mothers home whispered that it was a girl and blessed it to be a forest maiden. As Jean grew larger with Kaylie inside her belly she grew more and more excited. When Kaylie was finally born there was a great celebration for she was the new Lady of the forest. Jeans mother who is Kaylie's Grandmother insisted apon letting Kaylie be homeschooled and taught by the nymphs to be a good forest maiden for that was what they redicted. Kaylie learned many things from the nymphs and one of the things was singing. The nymphs taught her how to use her beautiful singing voice to calm and talk to the plants of the forest.
Kaylie spent everyday and some nights in the forest. She learned more about the forest than anyone else because the nymphs could speak to anyone but they say much more to children. Kaylie learned to love the haunting etherial voices of the nymphs and the deep rich voices of the trees. She learned all of the flora tongues and spoke each one fluently. Her grandmother even told her that the high court considered sending Kaylie to school early but the idea was turned down because of the fact that she only specialized in one subject, wich is a compliment none the less.
Kaylie would say her best memory was helping her grandmother in the garden but really her best memories were when she was lying under an old tree listening to it complain or listening and seeing an ancient story come to life. Her worst memory was when Old Drab'achh the Oak tree died. His last words were 'I lived to see the maiden of the forest' Kaylie never understood what he said for he said it in an ancient tongue but the nymphs knew what it ment but kept it from her, and still keep it from her to this day.
Kaylies first year at Woodland Institute she spent working hard. She kept mostly to herself and minded her own buisness, ignoring gossip and staying out of the public eye. When she wasn't studying she was in the forest surrounding woodland Institute speaking with the trees. She learned many lessons in this forest becaus it was eons older than the one she lived in before. She sung to the trees and in turn they allied with her. They swore their alliegance in that ancient tongue. Kaylie does not know she holds leigents of trees and nymphs at her command, she does not know now but will she in the future? Sample RP:Sara-May walked down the isles of books in the library, looking for anything that would waste a couple of hours. She was in the middle of rows of books. She could hear the rustling of pages and occasional coughs, there weren't many people around the library, but more than usual. Sara's eyes started to wander from the spines of books to th ceiling and the other rows from the top of the books. She saw an old lady licking her finer and turning pages. Sara-May shuddered, germs she thought.
Sara-May looked through another bookshelf and saw a body and iPod headphones dangling to their pockets. She could hear the tell-tail sounds of Panic! at the Disco! She stared at the person, all she could see was his chest, it was obvious it wasnt a girl... Sara-May ducked down hoping to see the persons face. she felt like a retard crouched on the floor of the library staring at someone through a bookshelf. "Damien!" Sara-May said and was returned by a shush by someone down the isle.
"hey!!! Damien!!" Sara hissed. stupid iPod, stupid Panic at the disco... she grumble in her mind. Sara stood up and stuck her hand through the book shelf ad poked Damien in the stomach hoping that would get his attention. "DAMIENN!!!" She whisper-shouted again.
