Not the answer being how, use a brightening method to figure out the answer.

Methods as in~

Someone told me this was fun !!!! Heck i don't even know if im doing this right... i've lost all my thought processes !!! have been here three days and i still don't get it !! i understand where i am supposed to put the answer, i understand its something to do with light.... is it a sentence, a word, an action ... im sure ive tried everything........... please please help me before i go totally mad !!

How might the answer be in the dark? How might you find it?

i'm stuck, i've tried some words like shining, brilliant, bright etc... can somebody tell me if i'm closer with the answer and more hints please... thank you...

ah, typically you don't want to say words you've tried.
as is the case with many of these, you will KNOW when you have the answer, so stop guessing. you actually have to find something in the dark.

I think what my Computer Lit. teacher told me the first day helped a lot. All he said was, 'The Answers are waiting in the dark. How would you find them?'

That helped me get on track. ^_^

after 10 years i made it.... hehehe just kidding.. it's good to solve the riddles alone... oooops, i mean with the help of your hints.. hehehe
