Each player on this list takes up a waiver slot.
All eligible players’ threads will be posted in the draftee section or the create a player section until their thread is re-made. The basic process is that the team with the highest priority will be able to claim the player they wish. If they elect to pass he next team will have the opportunity to claim the player and so on and so forth. When a team elects to claim a player, they’re priority will immediately go from whichever position they currently have, down to 8th where all of the other teams that were previously behind them will move up 1 slot. Waiver priority may not be traded. You may only claim 1 player at a time!
The eligible players will be listed in this thread as they join. The top team will have the option to claim or pass on the player, and they will then slide through. This is to be done via a reply here. Any team may put a claim on a player, and a team with higher priority will have 24 hours to match before the player will be formally assigned to either team.
If a player is passed up by all teams and is on the list for 72 hours or longer, he is considered a free waiver, meaning any team that claims him will not have to use their waiver priority. Free waivers are determined on a first come first serve basis after it is announced that an agent is a free waiver.
Just introduced, if a player is left unclaimed for at least 72 hours and is declared a free waiver, any team may place a claim on the player after the week without having their priority spot affected. It would be on a first-come first serve basis without anyone matching it regardless of priority position. Please note that free waivers do not occur until declaration.
A player can stay on waivers for an unlimited period. If a player is put on waivers, they still may play for their team while they are on waivers
