winter break was too long ago for me to remember what i watched so new thread
mention what you like or dont like about it without spoilers if possible.
(i discourage posting about other peoples post, but i encourage posting your own opinions or thoughts about animes being talked about)

currently im watching the old school versions for bubble gum and dirty pair.
friend of mine hates bubble gum 2040(remake) and likes 2033(OG) so figured id watch the older version. i can see why he dislikes the 2040 because they changed the characters quite a bit, but i feel 2040 has more depth and a better storyline so far.

old school dirty pair i like too. almost makes you wonder how someone can keep their job after destroying a planet, but then again, i was reminded of wachovia. remake not as ecchi as the remake, but more fun to watch.

Is it bad if I still remember animu that I watched 15 years ago? Lately, other than my VNs, I just following my seasonal 10 anime: Mirai Nikki, Nisemonogatari, High School DxD, Brave 10, Another, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai, Senhime Zesshou Symphogear, Shakugan no Shana 3 and Zero no Tsukaima F. Also, recent finish watched series after Winter Break are Kampfer, IS: Infinite Stratos, Akikan and Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai. Current reading Visual Novels: Ef - A Fairy Tales of the Two, Clannad, Chaos;Heads, Stein;Gate, Tsukihime, Ever 17 - Into the Infinity, Hanachirasu, Demonbane, Kanon, Soul Link, Utawaremono, Tear to Tiara, Higurashi, Umineko, Mu-Luv, Mu-Luv Alternative, Da Capo, Canvas, Kawata Shoujo, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru Demo, 11Eyes Demo and many more... Just kidding! I just boasting cuz I only read the prologue of each... but seriouly, I dunno what I gonna do with this huge archive... I read the manga and it one of the few shoujou title that I like! As for live action... the only one that I finished is Hana Kimi and the Wallflower. I think i have most Otakudom base covered at least once :D

I really can't imagine that there exits someone in real life who has the Simultaneous Galge/Eroge Reading ability like Keima from "The World God Only Knows".

So, I just started two new series, because I hate myself. My new and updated list is as follows:

-Beet the Vandel Buster
-Everything from last semester, since I missed the last few episodes
-Desert Punk (Sunabozu, for those who know it as such)
-Air Gear
-Mobile Suit Gundam (I'm about halfway through)
-Evangelion (I'm also about halfway through)
-Lupin III (har har, I'm gonna have so much fun watching all three series )

i liked the ending of beet the vandel buster, matched the same ending from the original gunbuster.

im suprised im not the only one who hasnt seen eva yet (at least until you finisih it, then i will once again be the only person who hasnt seen it yet)

finished watching the oldschool dirty pair (not missing anything) and oldschool bubble gum (was decent).

now i am currently watching Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere which seems to have interesting characters but not rly anything else worth mentioning yet.

edit: finished ep6 of horizon and i still dont know wtf is going on. im assuimg u have to have read the manga first.

Maaaaaan oldschool Dirty Pair. That's been on my list for a while, but I've not been able to find a good copy of it on the Interwebs. I need to look harder.

Meh, Mirai Nikki just sounds so boring to me though...I'll give it a shot. And no, I've stayed away from Clannad, Kanon and Air. (Though I do know Kanon's the one that started uguu, right?)

not worth watching imo

tried watching Mashiroiro Symphony but lost interest in episode 1. tried watching couple more episodes just in case, butt just couldnt see any worth to it. seems like a harem anime that isnt very funny, isnt ecchi, and the drama is rather poor imo.

trying to watch hetalia and black butler at the moment.
i feel like ive been left out of a loop for not having seen them yet. so far i cant understand why hetalia is so popular.
while black butler at least seems interesting, i wouldnt consider recomending it to anyone.

Why Hetalia is so popular? It's the very same reason why Touhou is so popular! Hetalia can be seen as reversed gender Touhou. Mainly male casts, semi-yaoi and other sh!ts that make fan girls squeals. I personally actually like Hetalia as it's one of the few anime that is well dubbed.

however, now i feel bad for not knowing much about touhou
