I have no idea what our Treasurer and Historian are doing, but it's not like they ever show up >_<
So maybe those positions will be open too...

So if you would like to take over club, please let me know!
Depending on interest, I'll decide what to do :<

If multiple people want a position, we can have like.. campaigns...? xD

Sorry, I really don't have time for club anymore >_< At least me and the VP really need to buckle down to get into pharmacy school..... so I think most of us will be dropping out of club...

What are the details of what people in these positions do?

I think only President and Treasurer are "necessary" positions required by VCU.
There are no real job descriptions... we pretty much make em up.... some of the jobs get switched around, and multiple people can do multiple things. You can literally make up any position "title" that you want to.

Treasurer: Complete spending workshops, submit budget, schedule+attend budget meeting, keep in touch with budget people, submit reimbursement forms, spend actual money to be later reimbursed at a time unspecified by the university.

Secretary: Make copies, flyers, banners, buttons, update forum, write email addresses, send emails.

Historian: Attend meetings and take pictures, upload said pictures so that people can see them.

Other jobs: Complete the reservation workshops, reserve space (2 weeks in advance), attend Presidential Roundtables

President/VP: Oversees the club I guess? Update the member roster/official site. Keep in contact with Student Org people. Do any job that goes undone, which frequently turns out to be like, most things....

Yea... so I've been doing all the "secretarial" stuff.... and "historian" stuff.... and did a lot of the treasurer stuff last semester when we actually had a budget... This semester the VCU guy in charge of giving us a budget went on vacation for 2 months when Kenmichi submitted our supplemental budget, so we got screwed.

So yea, lots of work x___x;
But, it's fun! If you don't go crazy like I did XD

I would be willing to do something but as a freshmen I don't know much of anything that works in the ways of VCU.

I'm interested in being the historian, but can't make any promises till after I register for next semester's classes.

Sorry, I think I need to establish this more clearly:

First and foremost, someone needs to take over the entire club. This will include all of the duties.

After that, you can delegate the smaller jobs to other people who wish to help out.

In other words, the small jobs aren't gonna matter if there is no one who wants to be President o_O
