Here on TNGC, we follow very basic rules. We're not going to restrict you to the point where you have to fear having your thread locked or character banned for doing something "illegal", so don't worry... These are easy to follow and you'll have to really go out of your way to piss us off.
0) Respect the admins. Seriously guys, we put a lot of work into making this site work. If you have a problem with one, take it up with another one, we'll do our absolute best to be fair.
1) Don't trash-talk any member of the board (OOC) and make it public. Let's try to maintain some bit of maturity here.
2) Do
not God-mode in your RPs. God-moding is when you have your character basically invincible in every battle and somehow avoids all attacks. Just... don't do it. It's annoying.
3) Don't use someone else's character in your post without their permission. Even then, don't overdo it. Not that hard.
4) Make sure your character is only in one place at a time. Don't have the same character be in two places at once. That works at some sites, but it simply doesn't work at a site revolving around superheroes and whatnot.
5) You can have a maximum of
ten (10) characters, but you
must list them all in some way, shape, or form in your profile signature. This limit is not negotiable-- nor will it ever be. (You can also have a different account for each character if you wish.)
6) Don't post with your character until it's been approved by an administrator, unless you received notice earlier that you were able to. If you do this, your thread will be locked until your character is accepted. Then it will be unlocked again, but it is YOUR responsibility to ask us to unlock it.
7) Don't ask to be an admin/mod... It annoys us when you do that.
8) If your sig stretches anyone's page, you'll be asked that you fix it immediately and if you fail to fix it, we'll fix it for you, and you probably won't like it.
9) Do
not post any pictures or videos or hotlinks to pictures involving nudity or sex. Don't post links to bootleg movies, music, nothing. You'll be banned indefinitely.
10) We have the right to reject any canon character that you apply for if it interferes with anything on the site, no matter how minor.
11) Admins have the final say in rules and reserve the right to modify the rules if we feel that something's being abused
12) Play nice.
