Three. Six. Five. Three seemingly simple numbers, but when you put them together that's all Dean Winchester has left as of June 15th, 2007. One year, that was the bargain he made to save his brother Sam, and he intends to keep it, but Sam isn't going to let his brother slip away that easily. He's reaching out to friends, old and new to save the only family he has left. Dean is oblivious to Sam's plan, ready to live out this year like it is, in fact, his last.

Meanwhile, the Roadhouse has been rebuilt in a secret location, one that Ellen has yet to tell Jo about. Feeling burned by her mother's stubborn ignorance, Jo is on the road as a full time hunter and trying to fight her deepening feelings for Dean. And while Sam's on the hunt for a loophole, someone's hunting him; a contract killer working for a secret demon mafia. And as if they needed more trouble, some of the psykids have survived, but it seems that their problems are only just beginning. The universe isn't exactly finished with them yet as those who have made it are started to experience weird side effects after the death of their "creator".
