Registration Guidelines:

1. Those wishing to RP here at Thirst are asked to register with their character's first and last names only. If they have a middle name, that's fine, but we don't want it on the account. If you could leave out the symbols as on the account, it would be much appreciated.

2. Making more than one character is normal of any RPer and the admins here are not going to restrict you from making however many characters that you can handle. Yet, you will HAVE to keep them all active, especially if they are Canon characters. Adding to that, for every two female characters or for every two male characters you make, you will have to make one character of the opposing gender.

3. Canon characters as well as original characters are welcomed in this RPG. You can reserve a canon character if you wish to, but after four days, you will have to post the finished application of said character or you will loose your reservation. Original characters need not be reserved, obviously. Please no posting of incomplete applications.

4. Right now, we are only allowing vampires, werewolves, humans, slaves, and witches to be Rp'd. No, you may not be some half vampire, half werewolf creature and no, you cannot be some random anthro-dragon thing. Don't even ask because you will get denied. And you want to know why you can't be a hybrid? It's because werewolves and vampires HATE each other. They only are civil with each other when they have to be. PM an admin if you REALLY need a better explanation.

5. This RPG takes place in the fictional town of Sparrow, Massachusetts. It's modern day which means there are cars and lights and gas and the world is slowly dying from global warming. The troops have been brought home from Iraq. The year is 2010.

Graphics Guidelines:

6. You are welcomed to make tables and siggies and all the little graphic candies to your heart's desire. However, please make sure that nothing stretches the board horizontally. (Love) The admins will be forced to disallow signatures if this rule is taken advantage of. The avatars are to be 150 x 150and there is no set limit on a signature. Please don't overdue it.

General Guidelines:

7. We're rated M for mature and caution those under the age of fifteen to join the site because R content is allowed within the topics. Of course, not every single topic has sex or drugs or gore, but there is a chance that you will see it. The topics WILL be marked of course, but these things will not be banned from the site.

8. A RPG cannot prosper without active members and with that being said, I must ask of you to post as frequently as you can. What is an RPG without talented and active writers? It's just a spiffy looking forum that has potential and nothing more. The admins aren't trying to pressure you to post, but we would like at least three posts a week from all members. Canon characters are expected to post most frequently. If there is a drop in activity, the board will most likely have an activity check and inactive characters will be deleted.

9. If you know you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let us know by posting a note. This will ensure that if an Activity check is held while you are away that your characters will not be deleted.

10. There will be NO prejudice or discrimination against anyone because of their race, gender, religion, sexuality, etc in out of character discussion. If someone does discriminate against you, please let an Admin know so they can take the proper action against said person.

Roleplaying Guidelines:

11. Please write all of your posts in third person and in past tense. It makes it easier for us to read and reply to.

12. Grammar and spelling mean a lot in this RPG and, while we will glaze over a few mistakes, don't make it something that we have to continuously correct you about. Text messaging, IMs and journals are free to be as chatspeakish as you would like, but when posting to others, please e sure to use correct punctuation and spelling. Well-thought out posts are easier for us RPers to reply to as well.

13. We happen to be an intermediate to advanced RPG and that means that one-liners will not be accepted at all. We do not have time to train beginners in the art of Role Playing, so if you cannot write three decent paragraphs per post, you need not register. If it comes down to it though, we'd like a good exciting post compared to a boring one.

14. I shouldn't even have to write this rule, but for the sake of reminding you, there is no God-modding here unless you have permission from the other person you are rping with. (War)

15. Close all tags when you can. Leaving them open makes the board look sloppy and messy.

16. No double posting in RP threads. Deleting or adding something to your post is done with the edit button. This doesn't apply to journals or text messages or IMs etc. Use your common sense.

17. Have Fun!!
