[The Ghost]

Out of Character

• It's this easy: treat others as you would like to be treated. We're all grown-ups. We know how to treat other people. Anybody who's going to be a jerk is going to be banned.
• You are allowed a maximum of two characters at the moment, and only if you have been an active member for at least one month. You must ask permission to get a second character in the maintenence thread.
• A minimum of one paragraph is the requirement for posting.
• Absolutely no "wolfspeak" or "chatspeak." Wolfspeak is words like: orbs and 'lume. Chatspeak is words like: u and tlk.
• This RPG is not rated, as in, there are no censorship rules. If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not join.
• If you ask a question that has already been answered in any pinned topics, it will not be answered again. You went to school for a reason. READ.
• Anybody who posts a joining application in the address book forum will have that post deleted.

In Character

• This is a fantasy wolf RPG, meaning that your character can be any color you wish and have any jewelry you might like to add (in addition to the metal chain and number tag). Your character may not, however, have wings or extra appendages.
• Your character is free to roam in the unclaimed territories, but should not go treading on claimed ones unless he/she is trying to get killed.
• In order to join a pack, you must post in that pack forum with "joining" somewhere in your title or subtitle.
• Promotions are granted via IC activity/challenges. Most of them will not get physical, but may if worse comes to worse.
• In the event that a lower-ranking wolf wishes to challenge the alpha, if the lower-ranking wolf loses, he or she will be chased out of the pack.
• For challenges, an admin will decide who is the winner after the thread has ten replies via coin toss.
• For now, no puppies under eight months and no breeding.
• When posting in any IC forum, you should have a real post there. Do not put placeholders or OOC posts in any IC forum unless it is a small snippet at the beginning of your post. This is to prevent inflated post numbers.

Consequences

Depending on the offense, the administrator(s) will decide your fate.

Preliminaries

· Read all of the pinned topics in the Information Kiosk forum.
· Register an account with this board. It should match your character's name, and should be properly capitalized with no special characters.
· Verify your account by checking your email.

The Next Step

You will need to post a new topic in the Application forum (a sub-forum of the Address Book). If you were referred by a certain member, please be sure to include their name (something like "referral"), so that they may be eligible for the yellow ribbon. If you are accepted, your topic will be moved to the Address Book forum. If you are rejected, you will be given a reason (or reasons) why, and how you can fix them. Once you fix them, you should reply to the thread, saying so. You should read the pinned topic in that forum to see what you must have in your application. That topic can also be used for your postlog and ribbons, if you are enrolled in that program. (You can read more about ribbons in the Information Kiosk forum.)

Now What?

You may begin role-playing as soon as you are accepted. Everybody starts out as a lone wolf. You must approach the pack you wish to join in order to be accepted into that pack. If you wish to remain as a lone wolf, you may do that, as well. Your first post should be your character waking up. Remember, your character knows nothing except his/her name. He or she will have a chain with a dog tag around his/her neck, but somebody else will have to read the number to them. You may reply to another topic for your first post, but it still must be your character waking up and finding the character who started the topic.
