So. You're here to nominate your favourite stories? Great! It's a fairly simple process, but there are a few things you need to know before proceeding.

1. You need to register on the board. No, this isn't so I can inflate my ego with the number of members, but rather so that the Organisers and I can make sure you aren't double-nominating. Which leads to the next rule ...
2. You can (obviously) only nominate the same story once in the same category, and you have a maximum of five stories nominated per category.
3. Before nominating a story, check its genre's MASTERLIST. If the story you want to nominate already has a thread posted, DO NOT POST ANOTHER THREAD FOR THAT STORY. Simply post in the first thread and say "Seconded" or "Thirded" or something to indicate to the mods that you are also nominating that story. If the story isn't in the masterlist, feel free to start a new topic for it, but be sure to fill out the form provided in each genre's forum. The title of the thread should be the story name, the subtitle, the author's.
4. Do not nominate yourself. Obviously there's no way we can check this, so you're on the honour system, but if you're desperate enough to nominate yourself, that's just sad.
5. No NC-17 fics or above will be accepted. R is fine, but nothing higher.
6. Nominated stories must be ones that are viewable to everyone. No FO LiveJournals or stories from archives that require registration to read will be allowed.
7. Stories can only be nominated in the category for the genre(s) in which the author has classified it. Any stories that are wrongly nominated will be moved to the correct category.
8. All stories that are nominated will be checked over by the staff to ensure that they have been nominated in the proper categories. Please double-check in which categories an author has placed his or her story in before posting, please!
