Breaking the Ice

Well, just to get all you artists out of your hidey holes.. I'm an artist. A cartoonist, to be specific. An anthro artist. Which is like... Furry. Kinda. Here's some examples of my work.



That's an anthro zebra I drew a while ago called Chad.

I use a program called Adobe Photoshop Elements 3. It's very tablet based. On that note, I have a nisis tablet. Big. Very big. Very good. I use it every day. I reccomend getting one.

I do "traditional" sketches as well. Here's some sketches of mine..


Character development. Coloured using verithicks and karismacolour pencils.


Story development - lyrics picture. A picture of my two "fallen Angel" characters, Faust (one doing the zapping) and WB (being zapped). Faust used to be a rider of the apocalypse until he got banned, and now he works for Death, and he's been sent to earth to kill WB, who also used to work for heaven at one point. He's immortal, unknown to Faust. But yeah. Faust lets him off in the end because they're pals.

ANYWAYS, yeah. That's some art from me. :3

Nice use of tone on the first one.

The sketch is very good. Ever tried getting bottomless coffee and sitting in a coffee shop trying to draw people as quickly as possible without them knowing?

It is rather fun.

you know what's weird? I draw best when I'm supposed to be doing something else. Therefore, all my best drawings are either in my math or science notebook...heh...

Yeah, I'm a little like that as well. Most of my better drawings are in either maths or geography jotters.
