I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the greasemonkey script is no longer working. Any plans to fix it?

hmm, I checked a couple of auctions and SnipeStreet Express worked OK on them. This ipod was listed today (March 1):

http://cgi.ebay.com/Apple-iPod-Video-5G-30...emZ180332998829

maybe some auctions have the new design and some do not.

Do you have a link to an auction with the new design?

Here's the same auction from my view. Notice, no snipestreet entry field in the bar on top.

Maybe It's just me?

Here's the screenshot when I load that auction (with snipestreet button):

So, this suggests that eBay is using the new design for some users, but not all users. Perhaps they are "soft-launching" the new look.

If you can view the page source and save the html in a text file, and send it to support@snipestreet.com we'll take a look at it and work on a new version of SnipeStreet Express (greasemonkey) for the new page design.

Thanks

Thanks to one of our users, we were able to work with him and modify the SnipeStreet Express greasemonkey script to work with the new page format that eBay is forcing upon some users.

I am not able to test the script myself because eBay is still giving me the current, production page format. So, this new script should be considered alpha quality at best:

Install the new greasemonkey script for new eBay page format:
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/50734

NOTE, THE "Snipestreet" BUTTON HAS MOVED TO THE UPPER-LEFT CORNER

The new pages have "We're working to make eBay easier to use" at the top. see pic below.

If eBay has selected you as a test user of the new format, please try this new script to get SnipeStreet Express working again.

Thanks
Terry

Very cool, I had simply assumed they implemented the new format to discourage scripts like yours.

I'll give this new script a go when I get back home. In the meantime, I've just been pasting item numbers into the entry field on the snipestreet main page.

Thanks, Snipestreet!

Leonor,
Please send a screen capture of the ebay item page (top of page) to support@snipestreet.com and we'll look at it.

Thanks
Terry

new script works perfectly for me - thanks very much!
Such an excellent service, the least i could do was register here and let you know it works smile.gif

Adds a nice little 'snipe street' input box next to 'categories'...
Leonor - did you look there? it looks different to the old SS script, you might have missed it... also i disabled the old script in greasemonkey.

Good luck, and thanks again SS team smile.gif
