We expect all players to be at least average writers, if not more. And the rating of the site is M, meaning it is a mature rated site. There will be mature topics discussed. So please do not join if you find them offensive. Also we rule the roost, and so these rules can change at any time. Please keep checking the. -->When registering you must register with a first middle and last name. The first letter of each name must be lowercase. For example: lily anne potter . We do not want to see LittleCherryGurl, or anything of the sort. If you register with a name like this you will be deleted. Admin accounts are just a name, but those are only admin accounts. -->Before joining be sure to read the rules, and plot thoroughly to be sure that this is the kind of site you would like to join. Also be sure the character you are joining as isn't already taken. We do not want someone who registers, and then never returns. It's really annoying, and depressing. -->We are currently only accepting Canons. No whining, no bitching, I don't want to hear it. There are plenty of canons for you to be able to play one with the persona you want. -->The student canon list is almost exactly even. The adult list is close. That means, I want the member list to be pretty much even as well. If we end up having twenty Hogwarts students and two Durmstrang, I'll cut off the ability to make Hogwarts students. Don't make me do that. -->Also, variety is the spice of life. As such I don't want to see one person with four Hogwarts characters. Really pick from different groups. Have a Durmstrang, a DE, a Hogwarts...I think you get my drift. -->You can have a maximum of four characters. But two must be male. Again we are trying to keep the number of males, and females pretty close to equal. The exception to the rule is someone who wants more males than females. That would be alright as we always lack males. Accepting -->Before your application is completed, and accepted do not post anywhere other than in the application forum. It just makes life easier for everyone. Because if you do post somewhere, and then are not accepted the admins have to go back through, and delete all your posts. It just gets to be a pain, so the bottom line is DON'T do it. -->You are free to post an unfinished application. But after three days your application will be moved to the dead thread, your account deleted, and your character put back up for grabs. And we're not kidding about this. -->If you register, but do not post and application after three days your account will be deleted. Nothing makes people more annoyed than someone who takes the canon name on the member list, and never put up an application while hogging the name. -->Competitions for characters are possible. If someone has already signed up for the canon you want and you would like to compete with them over it merely add a period, to the name when registering. For example:lily anne evans. Then when both, or all applications are completed the administration team will read them all, and decide. -->Also on this matter, we do not do reservations. Because they annoy me, and they're a pain in the ass. So get over it. -->Let's be polite people. If you think the apposing application is horrible don't say so where the other person can see it. It will hurt their feelings. And we do not want hurt feelings. This is supposed to be fun. -->Paragraphs, when we say paragraphs we mean at least eight sentences, preferably ten because I'm evil. Really these two sentence paragraphs are elementary, and annoying. This is an advanced site don't downgrade it. The administration team has put forth too much work for that to happen. Anyways we expect three paragraphs a post please. No I take that back, not please, they have to be three paragraphs. -->DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT plagiarize your application. Stealing someone else's hard work is not only asinine, it is illegal. So just don't do it. And if we catch you doing it we will ban your ip address, and you will not be able to return to our board. -->We run on the two strikes your out rule. Some sites don't even give you the chance to fix your application, but lucky for you we do. Our only rule is when we ask you to fix something you do. You have two tries to fix it to what we consider adequate, and then you are denied. This means I should only have to tell you what's wrong with it twice -->We reserve the right to deny any application we don't think fits the site, and our qualifications. Yes, it sucks, but that's life. And yes we will try not to be admin nazis about it. But we can only be so nice people. General Rules -->Once accepted you must post in the face claim, so that people know you are using that character. We don't want twelve people who look like Keira Knightley running around. Unless you are a twin you cannot use the same face claim as another character is using. -->If the canon list calls for a specific kind of play by, or face claim you must use that kind. I realize it is hard to find red haired play bys. But trust me I did it, so I think you can. If not pm one of the admins, and they will help you. But there is a very good reason why those are specific. -->The rating of this board is M for mature. That however does not mean we want raunchy sex scenes, or constant cursing. Yes we know, people have sex. But let's keep it to the implication of sex. I have been in several rps were we never actually say it happened, but imply it tastefully. That is what is expected of you. As for constant cursing. While it I will condone cursing a lot for particular characters, and situations, I do not want every other word to be one of our favorite four letter ones. So please just keep that in mind. -->We are an advanced site, so I want a minimum of five hundred words a post, almost every post. I know that sometimes you may have a block, or are just having a bad day. But I can write that much on a shitty days so so can you. Five hundred words, by the way is about eight sentences per post, as I already said that we would be expecting. So please keep that in mind. -->If you like who one character is don't steal their persona. It just irritates the hell out of people when they make a character, and then someone comes along and makes a mini-me. I've had it happen before, and trust me the mini-me's are never as good as the original. So just don't do it. And if you do do it, you will not be accepted, or you will be banned because it tends to irritate people especially your admins. -->Although we love feed back. In fact we adore feed back good or bad because it will benefit the site, please don't be rude. If an admin asks you to fix something don't abuse them, or contradict them. They are an admin their word goes. -->We all love cute couples, and best friends...well no really we don't. The world is not all puppy dog tails, and fluffy clouds. And as that is the case plot pages are not to be all sweet friendships, and loving relationships. No please spice it up a little darlings. You can do so much better than that I know it. -->Please respect one another. Not only are our admins to be respected, but so are our members. I cannot tell you enough how it irritates admins when others abuse their members. So don't do it, or you're banned. Graphics -->Your signature can have anything in it except pornography. Trust me no one wants to see it. It's gross. -->Your signatures cannot stretch the layout, or be higher than 300 pixels high. Generally a good size is 500x300. -->The most 100x100 icons you can have in your sig is six. -->For those big icons we'd prefer you only have a single row of them. So all the ones you plan to use should fit in a single row. And can only be as tall as 300 pixels -->Please nothing in your signature that may offend someone else. If you think it would hurt your feelings don't put it in there. This includes racial slurs. We will have none of that. -->For those of you who are not graphically inclined there is a graphic forum where you can request some. And Finally... -->Have fun!
