grounds The grounds of Beauxbaton are more extensive than Hogwarts, and perfectly manicured. The best landscape artists were hired to create it when the castle was first built. Over all there are four gardens, a maze, a farm, the conservation, and several water activities. The flower beds are replanted twice a year so that all the flowers are always in season. At night all the paths are lit magically. Due to the lax rules of Beauxbaton the students are free to take part in row boating, swimming, horseback riding, and any other activities they see fit on the grounds. The COMC class and the groundskeepers home lay on the farm. The Herbology class takes place in and around the Vegetable garden.

basement The basement of Beauxbaton is unsurprisingly as beautiful as the rest of the castle. With beautiful white stone walls, and dark wood cabinets in the kitchen. In the basements students will find a very large pantry stocked full of fresh foods, dried food, and anything else the students could be looking for to curb their hunger. There is a small dining room, with a small table for a few students who have late night cravings. There is a very large kitchen at one end which is full of busy elves. The Potions classroom rests down here, as well as the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom.

first floor The first floor is where the entry hall rests with it's softly glowing floors, and welcoming soft stone walls. The guard room also resides here which has been turned into the the Transfiguration classroom. The Beauxbaton students may not be highly religious, but they are encouraged to visit the chapel on the first floor any time they want to. The Green Study has been turned into the history of magic classroom. On the far side from the Entrance hall one will find the Gallery which is a perfectly quiet place to study. The Muggle Studies classroom was once Louis XIV's living room, and is just off the Gallery. Finally on this floor is the dinning hall, where all the students are free to sit where ever they like, and there is a warm friendly atmosphere.

second floor On the second floor students will find the Charms classroom, just off the main hall. One will also find the Medic classroom, and the Ancient Runes Classroom. All three of these rooms are close together, and easily gotten from one to the other. Also on this floor there is a very large bathroom dedicated to the prefects from all of the schools. Finally on this floor one who is looking will find the entrance to the Head's dorms. Here the head boy and girl from each respective school will lay their heads.

third floor The third floor of Beauxbaton plays host to all the dormitories. There is a girls dormitory that is on a separate wing as the boy dormitory. Those dormitories are divided into separate rooms by year. Both the boys and girls dormitories have lavish common rooms, and large bathrooms for their occupants. The Hogwarts, and Durmstrang students will not find these dorms uncomfortable, and may never actually want to leave Beaxbaton.

tower The tower is a separate building all it's own. It is much larger than it looks from the outside, for it plays host to much more than one would suspect. There is a very large library inside, as well as the Astronomy class room, and the Arithmacy classroom. Not to mention the Dove tower, that holds all the birds that deliver mail. Not to mention a rather large Medic floor.

eiffel Tower The Eiffel Tower is one of Paris' largest attractions. And is constantly full of tourists. Visitors have to choice of taking the elevator to the top, or walking the stairs. Beauxbaton very often holds large functions at one of the three restaurants on the levels of the Eiffel tower. As a matter of fact the Opening Ceremony is generally held in Altitude 95. Which rests on the first level of the tower, exactly 95 meters off the ground. On the second floor reside Les Jules Verne. Another large restaurant often used by Beauxbaton. Often the tables are cleared away for the Winter Ball. For those who don't want a sit down meal, they can go to one of the Eiffel Tower Buffets, that offers a meal on the go.

the louvre The Louvre, in its successive architectural metamorphoses, has dominated central Paris since the late 12th century. Built on the city's western edge, the original structure was gradually engulfed as the city grew. The dark fortress of the early days was transformed into the modernized dwelling of François I and, later, the sumptuous palace of the Sun King, Louis XIV. Here we explore the history of this extraordinary edifice and of the museum that has occupied it since 1793.

moulin rouge The Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in the Paris red light district. It is easily recognized by the large red windmill, and it's red roof. The Moulin Rouge offers can-can dancing entertainment nightly. Of course the main feature of an evening out at the Moulin Rouge, is the show. However, they also offer meals, and drinks. There is a large bar with an extensive amount of liquors. Some Beauxbaton students work there over the weekends, at the bar, or dancing. However, most of them visit just for the fun when they get their weekends off.

arc de triomphe The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris, France that stands in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, also known as the Place de l'Étoile. It is at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The arch honors Napoleons. . On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I. The Arc is the linchpin of the historic axis — a sequence of monuments and grand thoroughfares on a route which goes from the courtyard of the Louvre Palace to the outskirts of Paris. The monument was designed by Jean Chalgrin in 1806, and its iconographic program pitted heroically nude French youths against bearded Germanic warriors in chain mail and set the tone for public monuments, with triumphant nationalistic messages, until World War I.

grand théâtre de bordeaux Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, is a Theatre in Bordeaux, France, first inaugurated on 17 April 1780. It was in this theatre that the ballet La Fille Mal Gardée premiered in 1789, and where a young Marius Petipa staged some of his first ballets. The Theatre was designed by the architect Victor Louis (1731-1800), who was selected for the task by winning the famous Grand Prix de Rome. Louis was also famous for designing the Chartres Cathedral, the Palais Royal, and the Théâtre Français in Paris. The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux was conceived as a temple of the Arts and Light, with a neo-classical facade endowed with a portico of 12 Corinthian style colossal columns which support an entablature on which stand 12 statues that represent the nine muses and three goddesses.

stade chaban-delmas The large stadium once played host to the French quidditch team, but since then they have built a new one, and moved into the French Country. However, due to their having left it abandoned, Beauxbaton has taken it over. Their quidditch teams practice there, and play their games there. This is also where the quidditch teams from the other schools will practice, and play.

sur le marché The market is busy, and loud all of the time. But it has a wonderfully cheerful atmosphere. There are several stalls that sell anything the modern witch or wizard may need. There is a stall strictly for hand made wands, several stalls for potions ingredients, a stall or two for pets, and birds. The market is similar to Diagon Alley, and cannot be seen by muggles at all. It rest down a small winding French alley way. It is often crowded, and packed full of French wizarding folk.

castel plage The Beach stretches almost the entire length of Nice, France. With beautiful white sands, and harsh sunlight. It draws a number of muggles, tourists, and wizarding kind alike. One can be found tanning lazily on a warm towel. Or volleying a ball over a net with a group of friends. Some students spend their weekends here going for a swim. Muggles run their dogs up and down the beach. Some go for morning runs, and sneak out of Beauxbaton to do so.

colombes pleurent The Dove Cry is a night club located in Nice, France. It is more often than not packed to the brim with teens, and young adults. Dove Cry would be the place to go for a night of dancing, loud music, and drinks made of cheap liquor. The music is always pumping hard against the walls, and the dance floor is always full. Many of Beauxbaton's students spend long nights here. Pouring themselves into bed just before curfew set in. There are no tables in this strange bar. Just a few long couches pushed up against the darkly painted walls.
