eiffel Tower The Eiffel Tower is one of Paris' largest attractions. And is constantly full of tourists. Visitors have to choice of taking the elevator to the top, or walking the stairs. Beauxbaton very often holds large functions at one of the three restaurants on the levels of the Eiffel tower. As a matter of fact the Opening Ceremony is generally held in Altitude 95. Which rests on the first level of the tower, exactly 95 meters off the ground. On the second floor reside Les Jules Verne. Another large restaurant often used by Beauxbaton. Often the tables are cleared away for the Winter Ball. For those who don't want a sit down meal, they can go to one of the Eiffel Tower Buffets, that offers a meal on the go.

the louvre The Louvre, in its successive architectural metamorphoses, has dominated central Paris since the late 12th century. Built on the city's western edge, the original structure was gradually engulfed as the city grew. The dark fortress of the early days was transformed into the modernized dwelling of François I and, later, the sumptuous palace of the Sun King, Louis XIV. Here we explore the history of this extraordinary edifice and of the museum that has occupied it since 1793.

moulin rouge The Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in the Paris red light district. It is easily recognized by the large red windmill, and it's red roof. The Moulin Rouge offers can-can dancing entertainment nightly. Of course the main feature of an evening out at the Moulin Rouge, is the show. However, they also offer meals, and drinks. There is a large bar with an extensive amount of liquors. Some Beauxbaton students work there over the weekends, at the bar, or dancing. However, most of them visit just for the fun when they get their weekends off.

arc de triomphe The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris, France that stands in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, also known as the Place de l'Étoile. It is at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The arch honors Napoleons. . On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I. The Arc is the linchpin of the historic axis — a sequence of monuments and grand thoroughfares on a route which goes from the courtyard of the Louvre Palace to the outskirts of Paris. The monument was designed by Jean Chalgrin in 1806, and its iconographic program pitted heroically nude French youths against bearded Germanic warriors in chain mail and set the tone for public monuments, with triumphant nationalistic messages, until World War I.
