READ THIS ENTIRE POST OR I WILL PERMANENTLY BAN YOU WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
You have one week to submit new drawings for upload. As always, any that do not meet the standard judged by Gollevainen and I will not be uploaded. I will not post critiques of work here; I will only say "not uploaded: standards not adhered to" or something similar. What will NOT get uploaded: 1. Incorrect templates; 2. Drawings with far too much detail where it looks dumb and becomes counter productive; 3. Non-shipbucket drawings EXCEPT for FD vehicles (please post these so I can upload them, they will get their own folder under Misc. Drawings!); 4. Drawings not in PNG or GIF format; 5. Drawings with any distortion or miscoloration; 6. Improperly shaded drawings (that probably kicks most of you out as it is...); I plan to be a real Nazi with this upload session in order to make you guys adhere to the standards. I have seen far too much leeway given in shading lately and I will not let this develop any further. Do not worry about renaming the files. I will do that myself since I seem to be the only one capable of doing it right! Please post any drawings that were not uploaded at the last upload session as well! If you have actually followed my directions and read this post, place "Yes Colo I read the damn post..." in your first post with drawings in it. If not... you get a 100% warn level, and I swear to God I'll follow through with this. Hate to act like such a Waffen SS member here, but it seems to be the only way to get people to pay attention. Looking forward to a slew of excellent, style-adhering drawings. :) |

I love this. I do nothing but listen to bitching about the lack of upload sessions, then when I post one, nobody posts anything.

I should say that any drawings posted here should obviously have already been posted somewhere else to have critique for each one... many of these are NOT ready to upload. Please make topics for each of them to have the problems sorted out.
SS-576 Darter APPROVED SSG-574 Greyback NOT APPROVED fix the title, no capitalised name necessary SSK-1 Barracuda NOT APPROVED fix the title as per USS Alaska CB-1 example SSR-572 Sailfish APPROVED IJN subs APPROVED IJN submarine aircraft not suitable for upload, send to someone compiling aircraft sheets Brazilian Destroyers NOT APPROVED; post them in a topic for my criticism DD Eskimo NOT APPROVED, fix title as per USS Alaska CB-1 example |

Sorry...I just finished a 9 hour drive on what is a four day drive. With kids and dog. I was in a hurry to get those three Richelieus to you before the thread exploded with ships...

You're fine. I put that in place for the usual idiots who don't follow directions. :P

Some general notes:
1. Only real life build ships or real neverwhere's. We don't at the moment nor in foreseeable future upload own desings, this forum is good enough for them. 2. don't send me PMs and ask me spesifically about wether each ship is allrigth or not. Post them in here and Colloseum will tell you if they aren't allrigth. 3. Don't rush stuff to get them uploaded. In overall it gives you much more glory to have your proper work uploaded rather than race with who'll get most stuff uploaded. |
