The M-class light cruiser from Z-plan. This is the unofficial 3rd batch.
Why a third batch? The drawing was ready by 75% when I found out, that my source was not too exact. It looks like a 2nd batch, but the hull is stretched and the upper structures don't fit to the real plans. So I decided to continue work for a 7th and 8th fictional ship.
The real 1st and 2nd batch ships will follow soon in this thread.

If this is the unofficial third batch, it belongs in Own Designs unless you can submit enough evidence to suggest that this is very similar to what a 3rd batch would have officially looked like (official drawings etc)

A beautiful design, thank you!

I've always wondered though, given the problems the KM had with the earlier CL's just how good these would have been.

large pic!
2nd batch is now to follow.

Rigging is not very detailed. Would have been suggestion only but I wanted to keep as close to the original plans as possible. Will add rigging to later versions.

You've missed the windows in the conning tower. A bit of the background is poking through.

Feedback is a wanted gift from viewers, which the gifted can decide to take or not. Feedback has to be objective and may not be depreciating. I like feedback very much.
Others are critics. Criticize yourself first.

Erm, yeah, whatever.
