The boy from 15 was one of the best friends of the killed boy (14) they where in love on the same girl and the 14 year old boy went on a date and the 15 tear old wasn't happy about that and told his friends he would go kill him and then he was beaten up with a baseball bat. that is what the press is giving out right now.

On to the topic : Very nice game! only i played out the single player in 5,5 hours  had a day off

I'm currently at lvl 38 multiplayer. I think the game is awesome but Steam ruins it, also to bad you can't start any dedicated servers. Ah well, all combined it is still one awesome game

Ps. Colosseum, the FAL is indeed strangly inaccurate, even with ACOG scope.

I prefer kids firing weapons on the pc, then in real life...
But i prefer more that kids under 16 years can't play games whit firearms at all.
Maby even 18+...
When i play a game (thats a rare thing) i only play strategic game's.
Ore naval simulation (you dont see shooting people there, or blood.)
And that naval simulation is, ofcourse navyfield

Yeah, let's demonize weapons so kids don't have any idea what to do when they see one except to act out their video game fantasies.

Were it up to me, every high school senior would get mandatory instruction on the operation, disassembly and use of the M16A2 rifle.

Not only would it help to dispel some of the gun-related bullshit that's so prevalent today, it would also "de-mystify" firearms and hopefully teach some responsibility.

Though with today's culture, "responsibility" is highly anti-social. Now that our TV and media essentially trains us to be kids for our entire lives.

That's why I don't play mplayer on these games. Too bad 15 year olds playing it who only play it 24/7 so I don't stand a chance, it's annoying when your round play lasts 45 seconds because of them so I just stick on SP.

Better throw in a decent pistol too. Far more likely to use one of those anyway.

In my old high school they used to teach the use of muzzle-loaded rifles and old fashioned sabre-fencing..

And in those times (19th century) it was the only high school in the country too...

One of the kids playing the game asked me what a gun "magazine" was.

thats what i picked up on. its not even about education half the time. the only proven method related to violence driven by a social problems is poverty. being poor drives the need to have things, take things, fight for what you want/need.

but getting back to my point, kids shouldnt even be playing this game. i would like to see parents actually take responsability of their actions and not buy 18 rated games for they're moaning children. myself and my brother had to wait until we were of age, and very rarely were we ever bought a game over age as we didnt need to. there was a family console which started out as a megadrive and moved up to an N64. yes me and my brother loved goldeneye and perfectdark, but the 18 rating back then wasnt really as set in stone morally as it is today. graphics back then we pants and it more about the fun of a game than the gore. i think its about bringing kids up on early gen consoles in the cycle something like Megadrive->N64->Playstion(orig)->PS2/Xbox->x360/PS3.
to me its more about the games rather than the consoles in this cycle, as its a slow progression into the graphics and such of now.
its lucky i still have my old consoles, as i will definatly use this when i have kids. note that i am 19, so this shows that i know it works.

I agree lets teach them gun responsibility, but not with that! M-16 series suck, jams all the time. I'd rather it be either an AK-47(the gun of choice for when Western Civilization ends) or the good old M1 Garand.

You know the AK-47 jams as well, especially if it isn't taken care of, it just needs a lot less maintenance than the M16 needs. You really want something like a Sten for the zombie apocalypse. It uses 9x19mm, fires from a open bolt, is ridiculously controllable, has a 32-round magazine, and works like a charm. Although, the M1 Garand and the BAR are the most epic rifles ever invented. As for a pistol, can't go wrong with a 1911.

Before teaching any kid how to deal with firearms, I`d suggest you to take them to a slaughter house, first week only visit the area where confinement of the different animals take place, specially where the small cute little piglets or calves are kept, let them experience tenderness, on the eighth day show them what happens on the real world and let them experience what death means where the actual slaughter takes place, specially when those cute animals are being "treated". After this bloody experience, than you could teach them about firearms and the effects that they can produce, since only then, they will really understand the meaning of "death" by a not natural cause, as what a firearm can achieve.

Lol it turned out that you can get a virus infection from playing Modern Warfare 2. A friend of mine got a trojan while in mid-game. The problem started when hackers put in a Trojan called TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen inside Modern Warfare 2 and let IW.Net do the work of transmitting to other gamers. It has already been reported that Call of Duty: World at War is infected also. The Trojan is suppose to be some sort of keylogging software, which means copying client cd-keys or in a worst case scenario it will steal credit card information.

Pretty lame if you ask me... :(

Most people in the US do that. It's called a father-son hunting trip. Quite popular around my neck of the woods.
