Udaloy-hull with azipod for propulsion and brand spanking new superstructure and westernized electronics and weaponry. Well, save for the main gun, which is the bastard lovechild of an AK-130 and a Oto Melara 127mm LW.

Do you need those missile directors? I thought that APAR could direct missiles itself. I would also add a 3d air/surface search radar like SMART-L.

Is the Sonar Bulge on European designs always that huge?

I think it would look better with the original propellers and likely vastly decrease building costs.

Edit: The Sonar array seems directly copied from the Udaloy hull

The second black bar aft of the menuevering thrusters...is that a side-scan sonar? Couldn't that be fitted to the underwater hull without lengthening the sonar bulge?

All I know is that the Sonar looks pretty much Identical to the of the Udaloy without the bow thrusters.

It's the same sonar bulge as the Udaloy-II picture had. I thought it looked suitable, so I left it in place. Just touched up on the actual sonar array a little.

And I like the azipod, so I think it'll stay unless anyone have any serious technical gripes about why it shouldn't.

And I'll consider adding a 3D long-range radar, but as it says, this is geared towards ASW with AAW and ASuW capabilities being mostly for self-defence.

Thanks for the comments though! :)
