Very nice! But ain't they fitted with the Russian built 76mm AK-176 and not the Chinese licensed built french 100mm/3.9 in Creusot-Loire T100C Naval Gun as the main Deck Gun? <_<

Anyway, i whas at nbcd school today while the game started (nuclear-biologic-chemical-damage control school) and when the first goal came, 2 seconds before the whole school whas silent and we heard the tv and radio, YEAH YEAH YEAH, and then.
YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH tuuu tuuuuttt tuuut, all the cars on the driveway started horning their horns, and man what a loudiness of tuuut's.
The second goal, whas even loader!
Plus the hr ms rotterdam gave one as well, that whas the best moment.
And the party at the witte raaf (the white rave, cafe) whas just enormous cool afterwards.

While taking a closer look at the ship, what is that strange-looking search radar on the rear? I have never seen it before on any ship here. Is it indigenous or Chine made?

it is fitted with the Russian 76mm
the first three are made in china and the last one will be made in Pakistan. the ship is the final evolution of the type 053 frigate which is being succeeded by the type 054 in the PLAN fleet

It's most likely Type 517 which is a derivation of the soviet Knife Rest radar...basicly WWII era technology 2d early warning radar.

disregard did not see page two. that radar system is on other modern PLAN ships as the old saying goes if it aint broke dont fix it

Interesting ship. Seems some of it have parts which look that they were copied fron other ships (I don't mean armament, but structure). A good one DP.
