As far as I can say it's nice! Well done, plus there's a top view, which I much appreciate, thank you for sharing! ;)

These did not need to be redrawn. The ones we have already are in such common use on so many drawings that a new version will just complicate things, and our current version looks just fine.

Please concentrate on drawing new systems that have not been represented.

That's why I did not redrew them >.<
But colloseum, you do agree that the meroka ciws did need the revising?

This has already happened quite a few times; you guys should really put up a sticky or something about what has already been done and shouldn't be redone.

Ships are getting better and better ever day, stuff, weapons whatever... going with them in update too, seems normal..

I have to admit that Alvama has a point, however I can understand Colo's reaction becouse it would lead to ships with all sorts of different versions of the same weapon system. I quess we need to find an agreement on this, progressive action is great, but let's keep it under control.

Well, the bottom line is that I'm in charge, and I'm telling you guys that the Phalanx we have is perfectly fine and there's no need to change it. Reasons being:

1) It will take too much time and effort to update each drawing with the new version.

2) Even if we were to progressively update each drawing over time, the old version would keep getting used on some people's drawings, leading to an organizational nightmare. See DarthPanda's FRAM destroyers' torpedo tubes vis-a-vis this problem.

3) The one we have now is fine.

4) Only in the case of a really bad drawing (Meroka CIWS comes to mind) should we worry with replacing it.

5) Concentrate on drawing new stuff that hasn't been done yet rather than nitpicking the old stuff.
