I couldn't find drawings on the boards, so I drew one myself.
It's my first ever shipbucket style drawing and i'm not entirely happy with it, so any (useful) criticism is welcome.

Hello Thiel, my friend, first of all you should have posted this plane in the planebucket topic, since most of the planes are there. Since itīs your first post of a drawing, you could ask one of the administrators to move it, back there. I personally don`t know how to do this (). Now lets get to the bird : she looks very nice, but according to Wikipedia, the length of this plane should be 18.3 meters (60 feet) long so using the 2 pixel = 1 foot formula, the plane should have 120 pixels long, yours has 128, so you have to reduce its length by 8 pixels. Another detail is that as she is in the vertical take off-landing position the extreme portion of the engine at the rear should be seen under the side of the fuselage, due to the bending of it to the vertical position.
Hope to have helped you, on a very nice drawing of that plane.
 :) :)

I'll PM a mod and see about the length, but as far as I'm aware, the extra length comes from the nose sensor. (Though I might have overdone it a bit.)

You did? Oh well. Mind if I do the Olive camo and the Takeoff configuration?

gollevainen - November 12, 2009 10:59 AM (GMT)
sure, just remember that with Camo, you need to have corresponding shades needed from each color you are about to use.

Nice YaK-141 Golly, better than my early attempt which I drew 'by eye' rather than by plan.

Interesting top-view Ka-25/Ka-27s too.
