vossiej - May 4, 2009 01:47 PM (GMT)
Unbelievable!
What's next?
darthpanda - May 4, 2009 02:10 PM (GMT)
Well, I want to draw a Agosta, for my AU......... (prive AU) B)
But what i really want is to redraw the Walrus and Zwaardvis. No disrespect to TODG of current drawing , but there is something wrong with that drawing. I just can't say why...... Something wrong with the coning tower. ;)

I'm also not very happy with, it would be great if you modfied it!!!
I'm still working on the Dutch O21 :) I've send an email

If I can make a submarine request, I'd like to see the KOBBEN-class (German designation: Type 207) and the ULA-class (German designation: Type 210) drawn. Unfortunately, I can't draw submarines to save my own life. =(
Moderator Edit: PLEASE MAKE REQUESTS IN THE REQUEST FORUM AND READ THE HOW TO POSTS FIRST!
darthpanda - May 4, 2009 10:29 PM (GMT)
All I can do is Kobben Class, Ula class is little bit a problem.
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb219/d...L/SSKKobben.pngIf you have picture of Ula class?
vossiej - May 5, 2009 09:25 AM (GMT)

It's more of a semi-submersible then a true submarine. Sailed with decks awash.
Biggest limitation of it and other early subs and torpedo boats was the spar torpedo. Nice job though, getting me looking at my Civil War data for a new project...
darthpanda - May 7, 2009 11:47 PM (GMT)
Philbob,
Hunley II, I think she is the same ship after she was sunk for the first time. I understand that she was upgraded and put back in the service, she sunk the second time with all hands then she sunk the USS Housitonic.
Midnightnova,
Which ship are you planning? I have a drawing of USS Monitor and CSS Virginia about 50%, I plan to restart my American Civil War project. Perhaps we can share informations.

The First real Submarine enter United States Navy: USS Holland 1900
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb219/d...AUSSHolland.pngIs the hull colour too dark?
BlueEagle1 - May 10, 2009 09:38 PM (GMT)

Amazing stuff here: but I dare you to do Fulton's paddle driven type from the war of independence ( colonial rebellion as the pom's call it ;) )
http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/treasures/images/at0123_15s.jpgB.T.W. all these submarines......um <_< something Freudian here, no? Or is lack of 'muff diving'
darthpanda - May 11, 2009 08:04 AM (GMT)
Oh! I love Muff-in! ;) Well it is never enough for men isn't ?
No, submarine is easy to draw and I love them. I did volunteer for the silents service, but medical..... he? :(
Midnightnova - May 11, 2009 08:15 AM (GMT)
Very nice work on the Holland. Are you going to do Lake's competitor for the USN trials?
The one with wheels for driving along the sea floor! (no joke!)
darthpanda - May 11, 2009 08:53 AM (GMT)
I don't know much about lake's competitor, do you have a drawing for?
Well this is the smallist drawing I ever make:
Turtle Submarine
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb219/d...a_NL/Turtle.png
Portsmouth Bill - May 11, 2009 02:31 PM (GMT)
Nice one cobber :) It was the turtle that I was thinking of, but I found the other drawing when I googled. If I recall, the idea was to drill a hole into the side of a ship and attach a mine? You'd have to be very brave (or crazy) to get into that thing.
scifibug - May 11, 2009 08:58 PM (GMT)
I was wondering if someone was going to try that one. Excellent work!
