Nice :) Not a criticism, but the seawolf magazine, would it be better to have it more flush with the deck? Just a thought, it still looks great ;)
I quite agree, Bill: I had originally assumed the the VL-Seawolf would be 'below decks', but the drawing seemed to show it above.
perhaps something underneath that can't me moved?
One could also theorize that having the launchers in a semi-raised or fully-raised box magazine like that over an armored deck could equate to less sustained damage in the event of an explosion, much the way the Peripheral VLS on the Zumwalts were designed, with a blowout panel on the outer side of the hull and an armored inside. A Box on the deck blows up, it's minimal damage, but if a box belowdecks a good forty feet without proper protection around it, you're going to have problems.
I knew there had to be a logical reason - I just like 'tidy' ;)
