Where is coming from the map actually used for AU?

I am uploading the latest version of the map with the countries of Kathashia and placed IRMag and updated tomorrow. antarctica in the region does not appear on the map, we must add

Yes ok but who did it first? Is this map coming from Wikipedia? Or from xy?
It is a matter to have the right projection of high latitudes...

BTW it is coming another relevant issue about its handling: how add and/or modify infos, how refer it to time, ...

Just a question, what are the rules for AU? Is it free for everyone to provide a (detailed) chapter or are there some limitations or rules?

I'm asking this because I am having an idea for an AU time-line. The Northern European Alliance (or Union, or Coalition... not yet decided).

It is a split from the regular European Union as we know now. Countries participating are:

-Netherlands
-Germany
-Austria
-Switzerland
-Norway
-Sweden
-Finland

Good friends:

-United Kingdom
-Canada
-Japan
-United States (at least while Obama is President :P )
-New Zealand
-Australia


Not particular good friends (but no enemies either), mainly trading partners:

-Belgium
-France
-Spain
-Israël
-Various Eastern European countries

Anyway, it's just an idea, something which needs a lot of work (although the reason of the split is already known). B)

well I have intially discussed with Colloseum that simple paint-job and new flag on existing drawings doesen't justificate uploading to the mainsite.

As for what AU nation you can make, only ones imagination is the limit...

But then again, if one wants to make stupid and silly desings waht can we do? 90% of the idea seems to be overloading them with weapons, placed without no concerns of even basic physics (like deckpeneration) not to mention more delicate shipbuilding defiencies like top weigth and stability....naturally without any correspoding ECM or FCRs onboard ;)

Very few actually bothers to draw their AU stuff from keel to the topmost part of the mast. Psilanders work is unique in its exceptionally and orginality, as he has not only drawn those ships from scratch but also designed them, with precission that passes trough every Arm-chair admirals gaze...

No, there aren't any rules concerning AU creation. I don't understand why the AU scenarios were placed on a map to begin with, since some people may have overlapping universes. I never consider any of the AUs to be working together unless explicitly stated.

Uhm, the people that live in the Netherlands Antilles are all residents that live in the (official) Kingdom of the Netherlands just like you and me. I don't know where you got it from that the only thing they do is steal and cousing problems becouse that is only a very small part of them.

They won't steal money from my nation, infact, they are considerate to be one of the most hard working people in my entire AU nation. So, how about that?
