OF THE MOMENT: OCTOBER 2008.
Have you seen a good piece of writing lately? Did you read it and think, "aw man, commenting just isn't enough, this story/poem/fanfic needs to be honored!"
Well, at SECRETcrowds. we are fond of solutions. So, here's the solution:
We are now accepting "of the moment" nominations for October 2008!
These are the categories:
Writer of the Moment
Story of the Moment (we are awarding two stories by different authors)
Poem of the Moment
Fan Fiction of the Moment
We can nominate anyone/any piece across the website except for previous winners (as in, the same piece may not win again, and the same writer may not be featured twice in a row). Nominations will remain in process for five days, until September 24. On September 25 we will set up voting for an additional five days in the appropriate categories (these forums can be found near the bottom of the forum listings).
When it comes down to the results, there can only be one winner in each category (except two for story of the moment) and one award per person (in order to recognize a broader range of authors/writing styles).
These awards are to recognize the members who have done their best work; please nominate accordingly. Once again, you may not nominate previous winners.
You may nominate one author/piece per category, and two for short stories. Try to do all five, but if you are unfamiliar with a genre, don't just fill in a random piece.
