A lot of us have notes from writing classes or workshops or just wise things their English teachers have told them over the years. I think it would be a cool idea for those of us who have those to draw from (as well as things like writing prompt or assignment worksheets and such) to share with everyone else. Where should these go? We could make a new subforum in resources for it, or should they be filed by the subject of the notes? What do you guys think?

I'm writing this because I just got back from an amazing poetry workshop that was part of the Writer's Harvest at Kenyon College. (If you want to go to college to write, come here, there are so many opportunities. And if you change your mind and want to be an art history major after you get here, you can do that too. Like me.) It makes me want to transcribe all my notes instead of go to the litmag meeting and start the essay which I need to do.

i agree! a section for that would be very beneficial.

i've got some notes for writing plays that could be used for story-writing too, from a workshop.

I'm currently in class with what I consider the best English teacher I've ever had. She has so many great quotes and advice that I'd be delighted to share with everyone. I think it'd be a good idea to make it a subforum under resources.
