  random answers and tidbits about s.a.s.m• Accuracy? --> None of us are going to be post WWII Japan scholars. Although if you are - right on. We know that there might be issues on deciding whether or not something was around then, or if things went down a certain way. As long as you do not make the big faux-pas then there is no harm. Everything here cannot be accurate. We know this, we are not vicious about it. Yet there are limits. No new age slang, inventions or styles of thinking. You will see more on this in the other sections. • Age? --> No. If you are asking the answer is no. We appreciate your interest in the board but it's for ages seventeen and up. You might be asking about age because you are forty-five, well like we said - if you have to ask the answer is no. I mean sure join but just don't hit on us. And what happened to having a job? Character Information• Character limits? --> While we cannot tell you what to do with your character, we do suggest sticking with the details set out in their canon profile. We made them different for a reason. This is not to say that you can't make them into your own person, after all everyone only has three or four bullet points. We hardly set your path out for you.
--> You cannot change the face claim. Sorry. We aren't annoyed with these people. Hopefully you aren't either.
--> Sub-Plots are set for now. Once we add more canons we will make more sub-plots. We simply did not want to force every character into a sub-plot.
--> As you know, in the 1950s women weren't the powerhouses they are today. Women were smart, and they could be bad ass in their own way, but they didn't flaunt this - well most didn't. We know you want your character to be a stand out chick but she can't be a business mogul or anything that at that time was seen as a strictly male position.
--> Gay characters are loved. However, it was very different back then. There were no gay pride parades. It was a very scary time for those who were different. Gay people did not let the world know they were out and proud. Sad as it is, it's true. So unfortunately no rainbow attire or flirty gay men. Yes I know, it sucks, but hey - angst! MISC.• Images --> Let's keep the avatars under 200 x 150. We don't mind if it's 100 x 100 or 200 x 150, just no bigger than that.
--> Signatures - we don't want to be signature dictators but to keep the allusion, no Geisha banners with bikini clad woman. Come on, for serious? Don't you want to stay with the issue? That's breaking fourth wall. Not only that but who here judges those with scantily clad girls on their signature? Yeah - your hand should be up. Ours are. We are aware it is hard to find pictures of some people, but we know you can find more than that. No breaking fourth wall...dammit.
