* RACES ! What types of creatures do we allow on our site? What stipulations are there? Read below!
NOTE: any creature-type character has the freedom to NOT know about or NOT support the planned rebellion. If you wish to play a creature type NOT listed below, PM CER! or CHERRY! to discuss WIZARDS/WITCHESallowed as: students, adults break it down: humans who can perform magic to play one here: no special requirements exist notes: Wizards and witches are your average, every day non-muggles. We all know about them. Any other 'race'/creature type that can perform magic is part-wizard, but it is more efficient to refer to them as part-werewolf, part-vampire, etc. Wizards and witches typically can live to be over a hundred and fifty years old. WEREWOLVESallowed as: adults, students break it down: wizards who have been turned into werewolves by other werewolves via bite. werewolves can perform magic and only shift at the full moon. to play one here: you must be willing to accept that many will not wish to be friends with your character, and to rp full moons when dictated by RP plot notes: Werewolves are dangerous, but are most dangerous at full moon. For werewolf students, they are secured individually at full moon so they can not harm other students. Werewolves eat their meat rare and have no control over themselves once they shift. However, they're only likely to harm humans or other werewolves. Only Wizards and Witches can not become werewolves. PART-WEREWOLVESallowed as: adults, students break it down: part-wizards who are the children of one or two werewolves. They do NOT transform at the full moon, but often get very ill around that time. to play one here: you must be willing to have a character that is emotionally unsettled at least a few days a month notes: Part-werewolves are as dangerous by any means as full-werewolves. They do not transform so they do not have to be isolated. They however have a strong taste for rare meat, unusual body-strength, and a desire to be in a small group or 'pack'. Not all part-werewolves are proud of their lineage, and not all wish to become full werewolves eventually, though many (especially those supporting the rebellion) do. All part-werewolves become physically and mentally ill and weak during the full moon. VAMPIRESallowed as: adults break it down: former wizards who were bitten by another vampire, live solely on blood (specifically human blood) drawn with fangs, and do not age to play one here: you must be willing to have your character kill and drink the blood of humans notes: Generally, vampires feed on muggles. Wizards and witches are the only creatures that can become vampires, and often will if they're bitten by a vampire. Thus, vampires are unlikely to feed on them. Despite this tendency, they aren't allowed as students in Hogwarts. Vampires can not be out in sunlight, can transfigure themselves into bats, and become ill at the scent of garlic. Vampires also must be invited into a private building to be able to enter there. In our world they are NEVER walking dead and they are NOT immortal (and live the average length of a wizard), but they do not age past the time they were bitten. PART-VAMPIRESallowed as: adults, students break it down: children of one or two vampires who do age to play one here: you must be willing to play a character very averted to sunlight notes: Part-vampires have fangs and crave blood to varying degrees, but do not need it to survive. They become ill upon smelling or consuming garlic, burn very easily in sunlight, and have exceptionally pale skin. Since they do age, many part-vampires wish to be turned into full vampires around the time they are 18 to 20 to be frozen forever in youth, but those who do not support the rebellion may not wish to become a full vampire at all. {full VEELA are not allowed on this site, as it would be near impossible to RP them} PART-VEELAallowed as: adults, students break it down: Wizards/Witches who have a veela mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother who are exceptionally attractive and bewitching to the opposite sex to play one here: you must be willing to have a sickeningly beautiful character notes: Part-Veela are descendants of female creatures called Veela-- extremely beautiful women who bewitch males. Part-Veela do not have the power to throw fire and their faces do NOT transform into bird-like visages when angry. Part-Veela, depending on where the veela was in his/her family line, are generally extremely charming and unreasonably good-looking. the third code-word is 'them'. {full GOBLINS are not allowed on this site because... well, they aren't really that fun} PART-GOBLINSallowed as: adults, students break it down: Wizards/Witches with a goblin parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent to play one here: you must be willing to play a character that's very short, very intelligent, and potentially very boring notes: Part-Goblins are varying degrees of height based on the percentage of goblin blood they hold (ie, at the age of 18, a part-goblin with one goblin parent might be 3'0" tall, where as one with a goblin grandparent might be 4'-0", and one with a goblin great-grandparent might be 5'0"). Part-Goblin's fingernails are exceptionally fast-growing and strong, their fingers and toes are a a bit longer than 'normal', and they generally have dark-tinted skin. Part-Goblins are exceptionally good with money and are naturally very intelligent and clever. {full GIANTS are not allowed on this site, as it would be near impossible to RP them} PART-GIANTSallowed as: adults, students break it down: Witches/Wizards with a giant parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent to play one here: be willing to play a larger-than-average character who is possibly a bit slow notes: Part Giants vary in height depending on the amount of giant blood present. A half-giant (one giant parent or two half-giant parents) might be 12 feet tall at maturity, a quarter-giant (one giant grandparent) might be 10' tall, and an eighth-giant (one giant great-grandparent) might be 8' tall. Part giants are not necessarily dumb or stupid, but often times they're slow on the uptake of things. This is certainly overcomeable, however, with enough work. Part-Giants are not considered dangerous apart from their size.
