big, green, and lush, the great lawn fine place to play muggle sports, to cloud watch, or to just hang out. the lawn slopes toward the forbidden forest and borders the black lake.

a dark and very expensive dangerous forest. it is off limits to hogwarts students, unless accompanied by an adult. many dangerous creatures live there, such as centaurs and acromantula.

with shops like madam puddifoot's, dervish and banges, and honeyduke's, aswell as hot spots like the three broomsticks, hogsmeade weekends are the highlight of the month for those students that are third years and above.
