(I'm back! First post since I left and Happy B-day to me!)

Anyway, while I personally would love to put a plug for my recently released games here, many of mine have been met with harsh criticism as of late (Warp Maze, anyone?), and I feel there is better work out there, such as Pixel Neon 3. That game probably took more of my life than any game on this forum, and I think that's an indication of a truly great game.

Long story short, my vote's on PN3.

Pixel Scene should be on the list, and I predict Eight Eclipse will be to if it is released in time. I think it will be close between PN3 and PS.

Pixels Neon is not on the list, only Pixel Scene. One of the criteria is: Only one nomination per contributor for each category.

See Nominee list here:

Just wondering, is that list final or could Eight Eclipse but put in place of Pixel Scene?

And I think my vote is going for Pointers Way Arcade.

The list is final. Only author of the nominated work is allowed to change another work provided it meets the criteria.

Eight Eclipse is not a completed game, and thus will not be included. (giving awards to demos may also further encourage scrapping of work) Broadcast on YouTube however, do have previews, thus infiltration is included.

On the other hand, do expect to see some rpg games demos/trailers on submissions @ eCon (this will be the only means to put up demos on ppth). Will not reveal much for now... wink.gif

In addition, it would be good to give reasons as to why you have chosen this work, which is the point for having this thread. wink.gif

I know the voting hasn't started yet, but my vote goes to Tman's Ultimate Sniper. Every single one of the missions expanded the limits of a powerpoint game in some way, from the mines, to the sniping, to the radar. Each level is unique, and the graphic are very realistic. And most of all, its fun! Although I also love the Pixels series and the Pointers Way series, I just feel that the award belongs to Tman for creating something so original and complex.

The only problem with the game (which was out of his control), was that there was some severe lag on certain slides. But, its still playable, and amazing! Kudos to Ted Thayer! laugh.gif

I hear you, Vector. I totally agree. Tman's skills are shown to be nothing short of phenominal in Ultimate Sniper, which is a completely original concept done with incredible graphics and amazing gameplay. Very few flaws can be found in this work of art; it stretches the abilities of PowerPoint to the limit, incorporating just about every tactic used to make every other PowerPoint on the site, which makes it one-of-kind, a status unlikely to be duplicated anytime soon.

*Waits a complementary 10 minutes*

Sorry Emprovision, typo tongue.gif (I usually don't notice them either...)

Anyways, I'm glad someone feels the same way! I think that he is most deserving, but really, ALL of the contributors are amazing. Seriously, this is going to be a close one.

Yes, Pixels Neon is right on the Ultimate Sniper's boot-covered heels.
(And Tman's amazingness shown in Ultimate Sniper deserve two, don't you think? Consider yourself extremely lucky now, Vector!)
