I bought a pair of tickets for night 2 already but it is saying night 1 is not available.

I hope night 1 didn't sell out already!

I really love seeing shows at that VENUE! (when they actually turn the Air on)

Thats awesome! Too bad I cant drive to cali to see them. I'm stuck here in the middle of nowhere aka oklahoma.

I think I might be on my 18th or 19th show here in Socal. Gotta find a Ticket for Night 1 not matter what!

The only songs I haven't heard live so far are Seville, West (I think) and The Speed of Dub.

BTW- does anyone know if rob sings the second verse of Lyon?
-because I saw them play it for the first time in Costa Mesa and zach sung it and it didn't seem right, thnx

I think Zach does sing the second. I had always assumed it was Rob but I just listened to it and it sounds like Zach. Also, Rob sings the next part "sometimes I wish there was a slide out my window" which wouldn't leave the lyrical room required for proper transition since it starts so quickly after the end of the second verse.

Oh...and im super jealous that you get to go to both shows. I guess I either have to wait until August 2011 or take a trip down one day.

I always thought this was the Formula then the rest just explains itself. I also always thought the lyrics were "And this planet I've seen better days".

and rob sings " id take you to the bridge" verse.

we will be playing lyon on jan 10th 2011 at the casbah in san diego.
lyon was the first pinback song we wrote, i believe. i could be wrong
my memory is a bit foggy.

I got tickets to both night and I'm pretty excited.

When you guys played it and opened up with it in Costa Mesa, you sang both Verses. (so I was confused about it on record)

I loved the different take on LORO that night as well. I'd love to hear Manchuria again and the middle section of AFK extended berfore the Miles and Miles section.

Thanks, i almost missed this one, got my ticket for night 2!

Hope to maybe hear a cover song played one of the two nights there at The Casbah.

Would be even better if it was shot in 3-D and put on BluRay Disc.
With that said add a 3 hour extra commentary, BluRay Easter Eggs, instructional videos, subtitles, and a in depth Behind the Scenes featurette.

or if you don't have the time I understand.

Can I make a song request zach?

The shows were great. I had more fun the first night because they played 3 TIAPCD Bsides right after the actual album and came back and did about 4 more songs. and 4 in the encore.

The second night I was a little hungover and it was more crowded. The show was shorter and they looked tired because BSL is a hard album to play. Also they had a camera guy walking around the whole stage which was annoying.

I loved both shows though. I also think Machuria and Walters should never be played without the band.

Here's to a Summer in Abaddon show next Janury at the Casbah.

Why is it played so minimal now? Like a stripped down acoustic version? Seems like the Halloween keyboards actually make the song and give the song a 3rd singer.
