Ok, so System Officer is a band, not the name of the new Pinback Album. Is there a new Pinback album?

Finally!!


im so happy to report that ive finished the new SyStEmS OfFiCeR album titled " Underslept "
im also excited to say that ive moved to a new label- Temporary Residence Limited, which happens
to also be the new home of pinback, three mile pilot, and blackheart procession. to those who are
interested i will be bringing copies of the new S.O. record with me when i go on tour with pinback
this october/november '09. the official release date to stores is november 3rd . this record has been
a long time in the making, thanks to all who have waited for this patiently, and showed support.
ive posted one of the new songs off Underslept here titled " Shape Shifter " i hope you enjoy...

Agreed Keko! You do it becuase you hope that today is the day you'll see or hear an update somewhere out there....and today was the day. With as many bands and side projects as these two guys are in, its hard to know where to look for updates on what's going on.

What I heard sounds great, can't wait to hear the whole album.

The beginning to the song Shape Shifter caught me by surprise...haha. Sounds pretty good, but for me, the song has a place on the CD that adds to its introduction so I almost don't want to listen to it. Boy am I excited..and to think, we thought were getting this a year ago...haha

Ok now I feel really dumb. They had some Systems Officer and Three Mile Pilot for sale at the show in Dallas at The Loft.

Picked up the Systems Officer album at the Carrboro, NC show.

Best 15 bucks I've spent in a long time...well, since Autumn Of The Seraphs to be exact! Absolutely amazing CD, totally not what I was expecting from the EP. Absolutely gorgeous, dreamy pop with ridiculously infectious hooks. Buy it ASAP.

Ok we all will. Or at least as soon as Pinback hits the EURO-ROADS again.

It's already available at Dutch online stores.

Zach's link on his MySpace-BLOG (http://blogs.myspace.com/systemsofficer) for listening the whole CD is not that perfect.
