mine sounds kind of lame...but i guess i haven't lived such an exciting life...lol

it wasn't the hardest mission to do...has anyone else had any events similar to mine? has anyone had to move to different schools or move in general?
i had to go to a different middle school than all my elementary friends and then i moved out of the area and had to make new friends at a new high school and now i have to make new friends in college...i guess it gets easier...but still kind of sucks... sad.gif

Yah, I moved from the US to Australia when I was like, 10, and from Aus to the UAE when I was....err, 12? And then had to come back to the US for high school. its horrible because everyone has their stupid cliques from middle school.
-stabs everyone-
so that sucks.
its so much simpler to have friends when you're in elementary school, it really is.
oh, and i feel for you about the evil stepparent thing. dry.gif

"ive screamed my insides out and
been photographed coming undone
im pretty sure i could live until forever
and not know anyone"

hearts learn to ache in fierce ways.
your words make themselves at home in my every nerve.
i like the darkness.
it makes me think of you.
and us pressing our skin so close our colors run.
and who i am becomes who we are

I've been an exchange student (when i was 16/17) so I know all about moving to another country and different school. However when you're an exchange student you become a different species and suddenly you are very interesting for a little while.

It was hard though, because next to not having your own friends, you also have to deal with having a new family (and country and language)

i know exactly what you mean chelsea! i always thought i wanted to be the popular who could hang out with the popular guy...but you kind of make it or don't...there's this girl who was new as a freshman but no one knew her and all of a sudden in senior year, everyone knew her cause she joined activites and acted just like them...and then i realized the only way to hang out with the popular people is to be like them and i kind of wouldn't want to change myself to hang out with them no matter how cute they are...but sometimes you kinda wish for that fairytale where you get everything....at least that's how i saw high school...

that sounds so cool...difficult age to be an exchange student though, but sounds really cool! where did you get to go? my friend went to school in japan for a year i think...i wanted to do that, but the people didn't choose me cause there were other people that were older.

I'm from Holland, and I did my exchange year in Missouri (near Kansas City). Also spend this summer working in "upstate" New York. It was 2 hours north of NYC and there were a lot of discussions about it should be called upstate or not...

I had a question about the mision though.. I have issues remembering what happened in my life when I was 8 - 10, but since I'm 24 now, I could do it up to 24... is that okay?

I can only do up to age 15, but I remember things before 8..

and the whole thing could be consisted of times I've moved.
But ill be more creative and not have I moved to *insert city name here* as all the titles tongue.gif

of couse you can do it up to 24, you can start with any age that you remember something significant happening to you and start from there and end at 24 if you would like. i hope it helps you come up with something you can send slyvia! have fun! happy.gif

you can start anywhere you would like, i'm sure if you find an event and e-mail sylvia about it you could change the age around so that it fits between what she was saying or maybe it'll work for the age you remember it as, have fun with it! smile.gif aww, i'm sorry about simba, it's hard letting go of a pet, especially if you could have spent more time with him.
it's really good feeling like you belong, i know what you mean, the place i grew up, i knew everything so well that it was home for me. but then again, a small town is probably even more fun than my small city (Sunnyvale in California).
I'm really sorry about your grandma, my grandma isn't feeling well either, she's in depression right now and it's hard cause she's all they way in england and i'm in california....cancer is horrible, i really wish there was an easier way to cure it.
Horseback riding!! that sounds so awsome! i have so many history classes that all i hear about is the europeans riding horses and it totally makes me want to ride a horse! Depression sucks, I hope things are better though. You did really well, did you find something to do for the Project at the Disco?

I'm going to do what happened last year for me which was my cousin's death...she passed away from an overdose and i just feel like she can teach a lot to some people, she was a truly great person that should have still been here. i just have so much respect and love for her that i kind of want to tell people of how wonderful she was.

I've already started working on it smile.gif
