What is !on.the.EDGE? To put it simply it's a roleplay about dead people. Just your average ordinary people who made some mistakes and died and now are stuck in purgatory until their clock runs out and they're sentenced to hell or heaven.

So something big's about to happen. Maybe it's an activity check, or maybe there's some crazy new plot that will be coming soon and characters will be needed. However will you figure out what it is? Why check here of course. Here the admin's will post updates on stuff that will be coming up, or just something to make you excited. amber; such a fragile and beautiful stone. is there anything more amazing then being able to pick up your own pieces that are found hidden among the beach? and the idea of sailing along the baltic sea?
eastern europeans are rather lucky, and nothing feels more like home to them then the soothing waves of this body of water.

southern paradise
everyone's heard of the romans, and the greeks. all their incredible feats, i mean their structures have survived a number of centuries. so why not take a look at all the buildings and statues? especially since this isn't earth, and therefore a lot more can be found. and yes, there are a few modern buildings scattered around. i mean, why would you look at a greek statue without a latte?

thousands of people would travel these very paths to reach places of religious importance. the paths were found all across europe, and made it possible to travel between countries. as they played such a vital role in the lives of people, they were created and free for anyone to travel among them. the travels can be harsh at times, but it is guaranteed that you will learn something from the adventure.

bells of the great wall
this is a massive wall, stretching as far and wide as the eye can see. made from several different materials, stone, slate, mud, brick, and wood have all been used in this amazing spectacle of human ingenuity. several watchtowers dot the long fortification, as do small rooms and such every so often.
the wall is neverending, and there is much to explore. just watch out, for there are some holes in it. as long as you can see where you are stepping, you should be fine.

stretches of the many islands
the land of the rising sun has always sparked interest among a variety of people. with kimonos, numerous legends, technology galore and of course sushi. the scenery is breathtaking and the shopping isn't that bad either. and best of all it's pretty close by.

there's nothing better then staring up at the tallest peak in africa; and just awing its wonder. oh wait, yes there is; climbing to the top of the peak and just immersing yourself in your own thoughts.
no wonder kilimanjaro is such a desired place to be.

pray for the plains
the first word that ever comes to mind when someone says africa is safari. and so what land created for dead people would be complete without it's own safari? the weather may be unbearable but the sights of countless animals in their natural habitat should make up for that. after all how can you miss up the chance to see a lion soaking in the sun, or an elephant stomping around?
simple, you can't.

come to the outback
perhaps one of the only islands down under, this is a place of white sand beaches, fruit trees, and untamed wildlife. koalas, rock wallabies, possums, and all kinds of birds. try and stay awhile in the pristine forests. you will like what you see.
eat some amazing island, play with some animals, go for a swim, and explore the island of the outback.

calm waters
throughout oceania a number of tropical paradises can be located. each of them just as breath taking as the last. and so why settle for one, when the others can be accessed as easily as a short walk along a land bridge? with palm trees, the light breeze, and some huts. well it's just gorgeous. and to think a selected population are lucky enough to call this place home.

plane to aztec ruins
an ancient and old city of ruins lies in wait for you. tenochtitlan, once the capital of these people, lies abandoned yet ripe for the exploring. huge stone and wood buildings; houses, temples, and small castles are simply lying around. this is the culture and life of a once proud people.
be sure and visit the Great Pyramid that you can find in the center of these ruins. you will see how amazing these people could be.

fame, fortune, power. the three things most people would kill to gain. cities prospered on these three things, and people just kept expanding them. los angelas, new york city, chicago, are just a few examples. who said you can't live in a place like that when you die? and so with those blinding lights, and shopping heaven. a true north american city dweller can find peace among broken dreams.

magic of the andes
as the worlds longest visible mountian chain, this is one place you simply have to visit. rainy and warm in some areas, dry in others, the climate and weather of these amazing cliffs are too random to predict. rainforests exist at the base of the mountains, yet the true beauty is found in the masses of snow found at the peaks.
simply follow one of the many crisp and clean, icy cold rivers to the top. you will soon see what should have been named as yet another wonder of the world.

at the very tip of this continent you can find a rare species of bird: the penguin. the weather is much different then the rest of south america, but it's still just as beautiful. it's just cold... still what's life without a little risk of frostbite? sure few people live here, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun to visit.

i have one word for you: rainforest. purgatory could not be complete without it's own version of this majestic area. and since you can't die again, what risk do you face? explore the jungle, interact with the various creatures. and then magically find one of the huts that are scattered around and sit back and relax.
paradise thou is nothing compared to thee rainforest.
