build: Milo is an acrobat and so his build is very toned, not bulky as that would prevent ease of movement. His body is strong despite the slenderness to it. His shoulders are not too broad and he isn't the tallest but this just helps with his acrobatic work. He doesn't work at the circus anymore but he keeps up the training for his coalition work.
appearance: Milo has quite a distinct look. He is Eastern European, Latvian to be exact, and he looks it. There is the deep dark eyes, dark hair, he has a strong nose and lush looking lips. His jawline has an elegant angle to it and his cheekbones are high. He has the typical exotic intense features of the Eastern Europeans and he is a good looking young man. He isn't particularly tall and he is rather slight although he has very well toned muscles in his body, all of which is usally sterotypical of a dancers physique but for him it is an acrobats physique.

power description: Milo's powers started at quite a young age compared to most. His first power to show was his density control. He found that when he didn't want to go somewhere he would suddenly become strangely heavy so that he couldn't be taken anywhere and when he wanted to do things like get carried on his dads shoulders, he would suddenly become very light, this all being at age 10. His father had been a light manipulating mutant and so it didn't surprise them that he was showing powers. He grew to like having his powers and often used them when it suited him. Three years later and he was discovered as having another power, superhuman reflexes. This was where his reactions to things were lightening fast. Now that he is older and has been in the coalition for a couple of years he has developed great control over his powers. They are not difficult powers to control so he is having a rather easy job with them. He still has room for rowth and learning though.

view on mutant rights: milo doesn't think anyone should ever be ashamed of who or what they are. He feels everyone should be proud of who and what they are, and not just with respect to mutants. So, he fights for equality and acceptance between everyone

personality: Milo has an interesting personality. In the most general sense he is open, confident, a little vain (ok, a lot vain), creative, he has a short fuse, he is very bitchy, can sometimes slip into gay stereotypes, has a good sense of humour, he can be hypocritical, he is very affectionate, he uses sex for affection though, he likes listening to peoples problems, though he is two faced at times if your not close to him, has a a strong moral understanding, is patriotic to his roots, very generous, sees his body as a temple, knows how to have a good time and likes doing it often and he is self assured of who he is.

These are the basics. In more detail, he is very much a Latvian guy, meaning he finds things funny that go along with their sense of humour. He doesn't always get British humour and often needs it explained, as he needs to explain his humour to others. There is a lot of middle ground though and he likes to make people laugh. Also he is a very bitchy person and can be two faced and can and will back stab. This is normally only with people who he 'likes' but he isn't very close friends with them. If your his close friend though then he is a very loyal friend and will fight your corner. He has never had a lot of money but he likes to share what he has. Over the years he has collected a lot of designer things and he can be quite materialistic at times which feeds his vanity but it doesn't go oevrboard.

history: Milo was born in Roja in Latvia, which was a small town on the coast. He was born to a simple home with a simple family. They weren't rich but then in countries like Latvia the smallest of percentages were anywhere close to being affluent. His family werehappy though, they knew they wanted to havechildren but after the first year of Milo being in the world it became clear that having another child would be difficult. Money was tight and food was scarce and not the greatest. His mother liked to grow her own vegetables and they kept a goat and a few chickens so that they had less to have to spend on food. However, when Milo was 2 another child came along and Milo was blessed with a sister.

He had been a happy child. His father was a mutant, as had his grandmother, and his power was light manipulation so they got by without having to pay a lot for electricity because his father could provide the light the house needed whenhe was home. They were eager to know if they child was going to inherit the genes and what his powers would be. They couldn't lie, they were hopeful that it would be something that would make their lives a little easier, ease the strain and keep the wolf from the door. As he grew up he would swim in the sea and play outside a lot with the other kids and his little sister. Being active was something he had always doine but his parents weren't keen on all the energy consumption because everything he ate was just burning off him.

At age 10 his first power came to light due to his slight tendency to have little hissy fits. His father would try to drag him inside when it was time for tea and Milo always refused, but when his power first showed he managed to increase his body density so much that his father physically couldn't lift him. At first his father got angry but when he realised it was a mutant power his father started yelling with excitment and ran into the house to tell Milo's mother. When he was 13 his other power superhuman reflexes came into action and the family were happy that he had evolved to 2 powers as opposed to the 1 power his father and grandmother had.

It became clear to Milo that he could use his powers somehow to help his family out when he was taken to the circus. He saw the acrobats and knew he could do it with a greater ease than they could. So, after the show he went to see some of the people that worked there with his dad and they spoke to them. The guy in charge had agreed to allow Milo to train with them and get some skills to work with. His father had then explained to the man about Milo's 'gifts' and it seemed by a stroke of luck there was more than just one mutant within their cast. Training as hard as he could, Milo was working for the day he could perform and get paid for it and then send money back to help out the family.

Soon that day came when Milo was 14 and he wowed audeinces with his ability to scale up the apparatus and the ease with which he spun through the air on the trapeze. He was a hit and his family were pleased he was doing something he enjoyed. Eventually his sister came to train at the circus too, the family making strong bonds with the people there. It was a small humble circus that couldn't afford to tour but had plans for it. When Milo hit 16 the circus was ready to move and he had to say goodbye to his parents. They were happy the kids were able to do something they loved and also, although with the best intentions, it meant less strain for them as it was 2 less mouths to feed.

Milo was a natural born performer and was soon doing acrobatics and, after having trained with the other two contortionists, had shown he had skills beyond those connected to his powers. The circus grew with popularity and Milo was making more money now. He and his sister were making a life for themselves. Life carried on like this until the owner had informed Milo, when he was 20, that an old friend of his was coming to visit them and that Milo might like to meet them. This man told Milo of a place in Britian where he and his sister could go and they could train their powers up and advance and help fight towards mutants getting equal rights and not having to hide their gifts. Milo was wary at first and didn't want to leave his new found family. When he found out that 2 of the other mutants from the circus were going to join though, after discussions with his sister, the pair of them decided to join up and they have been there since. After a year Milo is now doing full time work for the coalition.
roleplay sample:
Milo had been practicing old acrobatic routines for going on an our now wearing just a pair of old training trousers with his chest and feet bare. There was a subtle glean of sweat now as he worked his body to it's limits. He liked how many places there were in the grounds of the coalition that he could practice with, as he liked to use polls, columns, walls etc to do the interesting manouvers. There weren't many people going about so he couldn't be called a show off but he did like it when people stopped to watch. So sue him, he was a performer, had been since he was 13 and he was born to do these thigs ad have people watch him. It was just who he was.

He was tempted to start doing contortion now that he had limbered himself up a bit but he has having too much fun hanging off things. He was going to have to go have a meeting with some of the older mutants in here and find out what his new assignment was. He had managed to get a set of twins to join the coalition yesterday after a week and a half of trying and now he was going to need something else to focus on. He would have rather be doing a job where he got to use his powersbut he didn't mind the recruitment work because he was glad to be helping out with the organisation.

Placing his palms on a short 50cm wall he took a slow breath and then did a handstand wher ehe could then get his legs to come round the other side. He rather liked this position and once he had achieved it he tried to touch his nose with his foot. People often wondered if this had anything to do with his powers and he proudly assured them it wasn't. His powers had made him perfect for trapeze work because he could make himself lighter than air and it helped with some of the bigger scale acrobatics because it meant that gravity was on his side. This type of acrobatics and contortion though were what he learned once he was in the circus and was aided by the fact that he was naturally very very flexible, which was an attribute connected to his fathers genetics, not his mother who was the mutant. It was something he was very thankful for indeed.
