Hazel Benneter only stand out in a crowd because of her bright hair colour otherwise she's pretty much just your average 15 year old girl. She's not extremely skinny and is a tad short for her age yet this doesn't matter to her much at all. Now her fair skin well that's just a right pain. She has to wear a thick layer of sunscreen otherwise she'll end up as red as a beetroot which believe me is not very attractive.

Hazel can tend to be a bit of a tomboy when it comes to clothes. She prefers casual clothes and a simple t-shirt and jeans with sneakers will suffice. Although if the occasion calls for it she can scrub up pretty nice, with the help of about ten people or so. Hazel is terrible when it comes to applying make-up. The extent of her skills is getting lipgloss on her lips yet if she goes anywhere near her eyes, well lets just say it spells disaster.

Hazel can sometimes be mistaken for being in her fourth year yet she will quickly let you know if you've guessed her age wrong. Because Hazel can tend to blend into the crowd she can be easily missed unless she wants to be noticed in which case she may charm her hair a different colour mainly to see peoples reactions.

Hazel has quiet a vivacious and lively personality. Most of the time she is friendly and always up for a laugh unless she's had a bad night sleep. There is a reason red heads a called fiesty. Catch her on a bad day and who wished who'd stayed in bed. Hazel can be a right little bitch if she's had a rough nights sleep and as she despises mornings it would be best to stay well awy until lunch time when she's had food and most importantly caffiene.

Now although Hazel does not wish to fail her studies she is extremely lazy and therefore she usually ends up doing her homework the night before. Time management is certainly not one of her stronger points. Yet even if she is behind on her work if someone else needs help and if she can provide it then she will.

Hazel is quite optimistic and confident, she will go up to anyone and introduce herself as she likes people. She thinks having a wide variety of friends is the key to a successful and happy future and therefore likes to be around a lot of people. Also Hazel is very loyal and trustworthy so therefore she can quite easily get tricked by someone manipulative.

Hazel was born while her family was holidaying in the tropical Carribean. No one is quite sure exactly what the town was called though. Either way as soon after Hazel was born the whole family cut their trip short and headed back to England and their home in Yorkshire. The Benneters owned a nice little country house which had a huge backyard. When Hazel turned four she got a pupp for her birthday, a little Cocker Spaniel that was named Henry.

Hazel's mother Danita is a witch and her father a muggle and so Hazel was rbought up with a mixture of muggle and magical life. Her brother is also a wizard and he was a little more reckless then Hazel. One time when he was younger he stole their mothers wand and accidentally performed a spell that sent Hazel flying high into the sky and therefore prompted her fear of heights.

Hazel's brother Kane is four years older then her and although he loves his sister very much he finds her more of a nuisance then anything but because their home was in the countryside she was the only person close to his age that he interacted with so they now how to push each others buttons but also how to perfectly comfort the other.

Over time Kane's recklessness rubbed off on Hazel a bit yet she is still far more cautious then her brother will ever be, still they are a close knit family.

Hazel was brimming with excitement when she was off to Hogwarts especially after all the stories she had heard from her brother and when she got there it certainly lived up to it expectations. Hazel managed to fit in with her house mates with her bright personality and even after 5 years Hogwarts is still as magical to her as it was when she first arrived at the tender age of eleven.
