The Daily Bugle The headquarters of this nationally famous newspaper is a massive skyscraper, all glass windows. Owned by J. Jonah Jameson, the paper reports all the news it can...Up to, and including slander and libel, not that Jameson cares. Many freelance photographers and writers work for it; it tends to run stories bashing superheroes and villains. The building itself is forty-six stories tall, and is capped in a thirty foot tall Daily Bugle logo.

Westchester The quiet city of Westchester is located not very far away from New York City. Small and unassuming, it consists of a town that is almost too small to be considered a full-blown city. Ice cream parlors and music stores, cafes, it is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, if one doesn’t like the big city.

Central Park Located in Manhattan, Central Park is one of the biggest parks to be created within a city. A landmark of beauty within the steel and concrete jungle, it is often filled with people, covering the carefully tended landscape. It takes up 843 acres of Manhattan, and is one of the most often visited parks in the United States. Included within its boundaries are artificially created lakes, extensive walking tracks, two ice skating rinks, an animal sanctuary, sports areas and playgrounds.

Centennial Park This park, which has also been called Metropolis Park at times, is the highlight of this advanced city’s floral growth. Much like Manhattan’s Central Park, it is one of the most sought after places with tourists, stretching over an impressive area. Carefully tended landscapes still manage to look a bit wild, despite the horde of gardeners that work on it. The most prominent feature of this park is the massive bronze statue erected at the center of the park in Superman's honor.

Suicide Slum Located in northwestern New Troy is the impoverished, crime-filled neighborhood, called Suicide Slum by most of the city. Whereas the rest of the city has the look of a high tech new city, this section is more classically built and decorated, with older statues and carvings instead of flashiness. Arkham Asylum The infamous asylum is one of the most well known buildings in Gotham. Large, with the grounds entirely fenced in, it brings to mind old castles. However, despite the dark stone it was made out of, it is well-built and, while not new, perfectly sturdy. The cells are equipped to hold the criminally insane, as well as certain criminals with powers. The long drive way leading to the building is capped by a metal sign atop the opening in the fence that declaims ‘Arkham Asylum’ in creepy lettering.

Gotham City Bank The bank - almost always busy and quite frequently the site of attempted robberies by madmen needing to fund their exploits - is a rather odd sight. While high tech and sparse in decorations, the tellers stand behind barred areas of a bulletproof counter. Los Angeles When it comes to the City of Angels most people immediately think of Hollywood, Disneyland, showbiz, and big celebrity names; and they’re correct in their assumption. Los Angeles has everything from the red carpet to a public Ivy League school but that is not all it has. Nope, LA has something that’s known as the ‘greenhouse’ effect. The air here is full of pollutants, and there’s no wonder where that came from; Cars. Just take a look at the I5 highway, it’s so backed up it takes approximately two hours to move ten miles during rush hour. Filled with both natives and tourists, it is not always the fun and exciting place people think it is.

Alternate Universe Feel like RPing in an Alternate Universe setting? Here’s where you can do it – just remember, what happens here has no effect on anything currently happening in our universe.

The Lounge C'mon, put your feet up and relax. Take a break from RPing and chat with your fellow RPers, just don't scratch up the couches, XD. Go crazy and totally hyper, if you want to, throw things; be insanely creative. Or, you can just talk about things in a nice, orderly, organized, way, but it's quite hard to avoid the sporks being thrown which way and that. Even if this is an OoC board, do keep things at an orderly level, or the staff will hunt you down and make your life miserable. :D

Back to the Street Want to advertise some sites? Go right ahead, we'd love to see the many sites out there. Don't forget to give us some description on the site as well, and a link that opens into a new window; no one wants a boring site, after all. And please, one post per site. Please note to start a new thread for each site that you want to advertise.
