we in T&T does pipe out we labor cheap yes & yet if u quote say tt$500 for a 1 10" box ppl does say "waaay ! , soo much for ah box jed ?"


fork dem yes - i doh prostitute my quality hard work nah , if u find i quoting too much then go by 1 of dem 'big name' installers (who usually contract out d work & make a mark up on it) & u pay considerably more 4 a 'similar' product


some ppl does feel fancy gimmicks & pretty box ting does sound\perform better than a "normal" looking 1 ... my spl\music box have black paint on it , looks ugly\beat up & has 36 bolt holes in it covered with only duct tape yet we all know it does wuk ! .....

same thing man does say when I tell them you had some spare pios boxes for 12" & you quoted $500.00. they used to say soooo much!!!

thats why half of them have boxes for pioneer 12" that have dimensions as follows: 12" length x 12" width x 12" height internal measurements, they say thats specs (no sub displacement ftw)
& is $300.00 to build that eh

last wk ah man on tuner after seeing how i did a 1 12" type box asked me to quote him 1 shipped to california - i replied its too much work\time to drive up to d port & go through that process ...besides after expenses it might cost d same as him having it done in a local usa shop ...

d T&T market 4 those type of enclosures is kinda small & d average man wud find it hard or jes too damn cheap to pay 4 something like it though ...

it have anybody in t&t who could build unique boxes? such as horn loaded etc... All d cars that compete they have simple box designs (normal slot port) imagine if they get high output boxes that would take competition to a next level...not to mention bring in a lot of business for the box builder..

i can build horn,tlines, and a good few others, but when you tell people your price, they run fast

look for example-
a guy came to me for a dual 10" competition car(wingroad)
price of the box was $1500, he run fast, never heard from him again

its true not many ppl cud design those types of boxes

but u c d ting is horn loaded & all them other types of 'exotic' boxes usually take up more space than a normal slot port box (aeroport boxes r even smaller) & every vehicle is pressed 4 space & then again most ppl dont want a box that takes up more than 1\2 trunk space (d weight too) which is also y most companies give compact box specs

more than 1\2 d jobs i do d customer says they dont want it overly big to use up most of d trunk & trunk space & trunk entrance itself sometimes limits what u can fit in there too ....

IMHO thats a fair price for a comp level box since d 'big boys' wud charge even more , but seeing as u is a 'small man' they wont pay u or me that ....

PWK designs are not so big and his designs are mostly rear horn loaded and t lines...check his site....it can be done..

this design on the left of the page looks a tad bit similar to a recent build from someone on this site (huge port area)

ok, i know his designs, but they design differently, as i have heard a few of his enclosures as well as the smd escalade, the bass is unbeliveable in the vehicle, but the second you get 3 ft away outside the vehicle, you ain't hearing anything

so i don't see what the big issue is about these guys


better i start using expensive brands and i will get big like them?

same concept as i have worked with-
proper box, good power, good speaker= great sounding bass

and you don't need the most expensive speakers also,most times the small speakers can do the job, but it's the box design that makes it

you would not belive how many people tell us that there is no way that 2 re se 10" could sound so, but the truth is, the bass hasent been put to the full level yet, when the mids come, then i will turn it up

I not seeing any screws on his enclosures

I like to see the screws for some strange reason I love to see screws & raw MDF.
