This is how i came about talking to this guy, after I saw this install I knew it was what I wanted and just had to ask a few questions to the installer..

Im trying to model my install a little bit to something similar I saw him do..So even though it looks and sounds like hell now, when Im done it will be fantastico. The simplicity and yet beauty of those installs make any diyer want to go try something lol

lexus install _ did a gr8 job in d trunk but imo a 1\2 assed job on d doors...since he did all that work on d trunk i would have dampen d doors properly too .... & tweeter placement ...which surely could have gone somewhere higher up on d doors


these things r a TON of time\work ....& d most important thing is when u make a exact fitted install like this u just cant change out any part in a hurry without messing it up ...

Try a tweet install in your kicks, tell me how they sound...

my 1st comp install with d infinity set few yrs ago i had d tweeter down low near to d door speaker for a stealth not noticeable install ...sounded pretty good yet d music was like below steering height which is to be expected

with my last install i put d tweet on d dash which gives far more depth\staging\imaging ...dont like seeing 2 tweets on d dash but u have to live with that unless u go fabricate to fit it on d side pillars ...

How were they angled?

had it facing 4ward

but i knew to my taste i didnt like tweets aimed str8 towards me & still dont - sound annoying that way to me


point is d music will 'sound low' once d tweets r positioned low ...try it temp with double side tape & u will see 4 urself ...

I tried them but aimed a little differently..



i had them angled at the opposite headrest sounded just par to me....Now yes Id say for the ultimate stage height go above the dash but have some factors that come into play that could change the whole game IMO..


PLD's and listening position are the two that come to mind right now(cant remember the thoughts on that position,Id have to re do them and comment back..I got the idea from john's car when I saw he had the L4's down there..

I know this may not be anything major but, I hope someone can take something positive from this.
